Hi , to anyone who consider mobile banking , this bank consistently fails . Application for Android, when upgrade required, will not allow you to upgrade / that is right ! /, meantime will permanently block access from any other device you are using to log to your account . It cannot be more paranoid then that , to say it politely . I went on Google Play comments to see what recent posts say . Yes, account holders agree with me . So, no mobile banking . So what they are for ? I think it is very wise question : Be or not to be ? Digital customer service is a joke . Why they hire these people ? Account closed . I do not need struggle with the bank , a financial institution .

I am really fed up with this stupid institution!! Its my fault that I am here writing this because I should have left long ago, but I was able to avoid dealing with them until today. All I want to do is transfer an amount under $10,000 to an outside account. This mickey mouse bank won't permit a transfer over $2000 per day, up to $5000 per month. Really???? I have been on and off the phone with a number of nitwits who have no idea what they are doing! In this day and age, its a joke and reflects on the continued paranoia I have experienced with this bank.

I have been banking with Lake Forest Bank & Trust and the Wintrust family of organizations for approximately 10 years now. I must say the Lake Forest Bank & Trust family has been amazing to work with in every aspect! Personally, Barb and Nina at the main branch are always a trusted partner that I know can get things done in an efficient and timely manner for me whether I have questions on my existing accounts or am opening a new account. Janice was extremely helpful when I was considering a home equity line of credit. Commercially, I have been well taken care of by Steve when it comes to my small business checking and line of credit accounts as well as a building mortgage loan. Steve was also instrumental in connecting us with contacts at the Small Business Association which allowed us to secure additional funding to expand our business. Robert at Wintrust Mortgage helped secure me a sub-4% loan when it was time for me to purchase a home. He had an excellent team and mortgage process that allowed me to close in 49-days from offer to closing. Apart from networks in the business community, they have a commitment to our local communities and they show it. From participation in local parades and school capital improvement campaigns to supporting the Chicago Cubs and diversity in the workplace and diversity programming for the greater Chicago community, this bank and their leaders are behind me. This type of support, leadership and access to people in the business and local community is why I will continue to partner with Lake Forest Bank & Trust and the Wintrust family.

According to the cashier a US Postal Service money order is not a form of secure funds and you need a account to pull funds from to guarantee the money order to cash out. Many other options to bank at locally choose wisely.
