The food and experience of this beautiful historic building was wonderful. Our waiter George was spot on with suggestions and his knowledge of the menu. Our daughter has allergies and food limitations, George was able to help her with her choices. Loved the old “Bar” as well. We will be seeing you all soon.

First time at Deerpath, and we loved it! It's really beautiful, and elegant inside and out. We decided to sit outside in the courtyard, and it was lovely, and decorated beautifully. Good energy as well. We loved everything we ordered. The burger was amazing, and very juicy. The steak frites was good, the steak tartare, and octopus were delicious and cooked to perfection. Drinks on points. Def not watered down. Look forward to coming back again!

Wonderful hotel and Restaurant in Lake Forest. A real hidden gem in thr North Shore of the Chicago Area. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, and the service was more than attentive. The food was outstanding as well. We enjoyed thr Egg White Fruttia, Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs, and thr Eggs Benedict. All prepared to perfection and very much enjoyed. Lastly, the coffee was outstanding.

Made reservations to celebrate an early Mother’s Day with my elderly parents. First and foremost, DO NOT bring anyone with mobility issues. Although there are elevators, it is incredibly difficult for anyone with a cane-walker. Second, I had reserved Sunday brunch and called multiple times and got vm. No one ever returned my call. We finally got a table for 2:30 as they said they had nothing earlier. We received a call 45 mins before at 1:45 telling m us we could come early. Really? We had arranged to arrive at 2:30 as we had been told. We were then told we had 30mins before the buffet was cleared. After speaking with a manager, we had ample time but food was overall mediocre … lukewarm, meat was tough and dry. Food was scavenged and not cleaned up. V disappointed and will not be returning. Deerpath Inn had been a family go to for generations and I had used for business. I will not return.

"Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Deerpath Inn, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The highlight of my visit was an unexpected surprise – a huge slice of the most decadent chocolate cake I have ever tasted. It was a sweet gesture that truly made my day. Additionally, I had the opportunity to try their Paloma drink, and it was absolutely perfect, earning a firm thumbs up from me. Overall, Deerpath Inn impressed me with its exceptional service, cozy ambiance, and outstanding offerings. It's definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience."
