“Suit shopping with young boys is no fun...for mom or the boys! Fortunately, Guys & Co makes it as quick and painless as possible. I made an appointment online with Bonnie for my 7 and 10 year old sons to get suits for my daughter's upcoming bat mitzvah. The website says to make an appointment 6-8 weeks ahead of time so I was right within the time frame. While we had no trouble finding when we needed, I'm glad I have some extra time to get the boys alterations over the next few weeks- our next not so fun activity! We were in and out within 45 minutes and left with suits for the service, friday night service/dinner outfits and party outfits. The total for all came to approximately $1000, which I didn't think was too bad for the amount of clothes we left with (including belts and socks too). The boys looked oh so handsome in everything and we had plenty to choose from. Bonnie and team were super helpful in figuring out what fit them best. I kept thinking during it that it would have been a nightmare to do online since suit sizes run differently than normal clothes. They carry sizes 8 and up, which was perfect for my boys since my tall 7 year old wears a size 8. They also have a very large mens section so I may need to send my husband back one day! On this Saturday at 3:15pm we pretty much had the store to ourselves, which was helpful in making it a fast experience. The next time I'll be back will be in a few years when my 10 year old is making the bar mitzvah circuit and I wouldn't hesitate to look elsewhere based on the stellar experience.”

Employees are exceptional at being attentive and very courteous. They were so accommodating. Good place to stock up on daily wear items like tops and shorts. Nice prints and personally always like their fabric quality. I like how spacious it is and how most of the clothes are neatly organized. Employees are always tidying up. “My daughter's school is participating in an End of the Year ABC Countdown and she told me at 7:30pm that the next school day was "Illinois Day." She didn't have anything Illinois related so I hopped in the car and went straight to Lids U. The store was closed so I tried Chicago Locker Room; they did not have Illinois specific apparel. I asked the young man working if he had any other suggestions on where to go but he said that Lids U would be the only place he knew of. I explained my situation just in a sharing way, never expecting him to close his store and allow me access to Lids U for shopping, but that is exactly what he did. He went out of his way, in the last 15 minutes of his work night to let me shop at Lids U so my daughter could participate in Spirit Day. I'll absolutely be back for my sportswear needs!”

“My husband Gary and I and our adorable fur baby fefe were at JCPenney on the 19th shopping for a birthday present for my dad cause his birthday is march 31st which is this week. And so we looked all around for a nice dress shirt and there were some for $40-$50 and some for $24.99 and then we looked in the clear boxes where all of the clearance dress shirts are and we found a really nice dress shirt for an amazing price! Plus we got to buy 4 new towels as well because of the incredible deal we got on my dads dress shirt. All together we spent $25 on all 5 items! My husband Gary and I and our adorable fur baby fefe were so happy that we stayed within our budget. Plus we also got to buy my dad a birthday card and a coffee mug as well since we didn't spend a lot. Thanks so much JCPenney for always carrying amazing items at such great prices.”
