Today, I stopped at a this gas station to fill up my tank, purchase a cup of coffee, and use the restroom. When I asked the employee for the restroom key, she gave me a flimsy excuse, claiming they had forgotten the keys inside the restroom. This wasn’t the first time I had been lied to about the restroom being unavailable. Frustrated, I walked out and drove to another gas station ( GasNWash)to use their facilities. It’s infuriating that gas stations refuse to open their restrooms to paying customers. This laziness and unwillingness to do their job can be especially problematic if someone urgently needs the restroom due to illness. I hope the city addresses this issue to ensure that gas stations provide the basic amenities they promise to their customers.

I was on the road and needed to use the restroom at 12:20 AM so I decided I would fill up and then use the restroom. I put $40.50 of gas in the tank and then walked in to use the restroom. The door was locked. I was the only customer at the station at this time and I thought strange. I walked over to the attendant and he said it was locked overnight. I could see it being locked and having to request a key but when I asked , he rudely said it was locked overnight and I could not use it. I was in a suitcoat and not looking like someone walking in off of the street. If I had known their restroom was closed, I would have driven another mile or two down the road to another station. I will not darken their doorstep in the future!

They're new "touchscreen" is horrible. Doesn't work most of the time, won't let you do your shell rewards, and just plain sucks. Hope they didn't change their gas. They were one of the few who don't water their gas down!

Is really just a plain gas station. The quality is not real clean. The value is not really good. You just go get your gas and leave. Nothing real special about it at all

The shell at waukegan rd and 176 in Lake Bluff is employed/managed by people that don't know how to do their job. Gas pump won't clear previous transaction and idiots working Sunday 4/23/2023 at 7pm had a attitude that they were doing me a favor by alowing me to buy fuel there, which I didn't do because they couldn't get it working and could care less about customer service or me spending my money there. Not the first time issues with the employees, advertising led sign at corner had price and at register price was higher, when I complained the cashier said " it's only $1 more, not a big deal" and nothing she could/would do about it. Conveinient location for me but I'm not going back again.
