Not sure if this is a normal practice of Waukegan car dealers or just poor professionalism. Had a vehicle that I was going to buy and was trading in my car with the deal. Was coming into the dealership 2 days later because of work and thought I had a deal.Ended up getting some free time so I decided to go earlier to the dealership to purchase the car. When I called to inform them of my intentions, nobody answered the phone. After an hour, Peter called back and explained that they sold the car the day before and that they couldn't hold it for any one person.If you give someone your word, shouldn't you be responsible for living up to it?Just another sad day in America.

I'm a college student getting by on minimal loans and babysitting on the weekends. I take the bus an hour and 45 minutes each way to commute to school in the suburbs but that way of transportation is no longer feasible now that I have to go to clinicals in the hospital setting. I worked tiredly over the summer to make enough money to get a used car. I saw this car and they said the AC wasn't blowing cold but other than that- an old couple owned the car prior and it was in great shape. Since I was in such a rush against my better judgment I bought the car without having a mechanic look at it. When I was finally able to bring it in he told me it's not even safe enough to drive and I should just sell it for parts. We called the dealership and the salesman- yes, salesman, said his boss was willing to "give $100 cash back". I spent over $5k. The owner wouldn't even talk to us, would only play phone through the salesman. Total coward who screwed a hard working student. Save your money and take your business literally anywhere else. I wish I had.

They helped me from start to finish and it was one of the few stress free experiences I had when buying a car. Felt pleased with the deal and for once I felt like I wasn't being ripped off by a dealer. Good people
