“If you need a great auto repair business, Star Auto Authority is the place to go! I flew into Illinois to purchase a vehicle and wanted to get it checked out before driving home. This place was the only business who recognized that I needed to get in soon and Bill was able to schedule me in. They did a comprehensive check and recommended some repairs. I decided to get my brakes replaced. For a auto repair business that looked this nice, i felt that the repair quote was very reasonable and fair. “I purchased tires from here 3 years ago. Began developing a leak in my left rear tire. Berry put the tire in a water bin to test indicating some debris likely worked its way between the bead and rim creating a slow leak. Berry re-sealed the tire to the rim at no cost. Very helpful staff. Jason and Rob were great.”

“We did a walk-in for tire sensor change. Everyone was so kind and respectful. The job was done within an hour and price was very reasonable. The day after the job was completed we went to our car dealer for an oil change and they did a tire rotation. Needless to say the sensors were affected by this change and we were told to take the truck back to Waukegan Tire. We were fortunate to be taken care of by David F who had waited on us the previous day. He reprogrammed the monitors and we were out of there in under ten minutes. We truly appreciate the help we were given and would definitely recommend Waukegan Tire for any of your vehicle needs. Thank you so much”

“Fantastic experience here - we moved recently and I've been in search of a new reliable mechanic. Called in to see if I could get an oil change at 11am and they had a opening at 1pm. Everyone in the shop was wearing masks which I wasn't really expecting it was a very pleasant surprise. Dropped my car off and picked it up an hour later - $35 out the door. No upsells, no hassle, it was just a great experience. Definitely using them for any future work.”

“I had to send my wife over there for a battery installation on my truck because I was out of town. I was expecting to have to remove and clean terminals on my cables after I got back. The guys did an exceptional job, it looks like they detail cleaned it with a brush and terminal cleaner then sprayed a protectant on it afterwards. Battery is securely mounted. I will definitely return next time we need help.”
