Lake Bluff Hub and Cycle is Lake Bluff's premier bike shop for knowledge, parts, service, and more. It operates primarily by appointment, with a doorbell in the elevator lobby for access to the basement shop. The helpful and pleasant staff is very knowledgeable and provides professional service, often completing work quickly and at good prices. They carry a full line of bikes and accessories and can handle a wide range of repairs, from fixing internally routed shifter cables and bleeding Magura brakes to servicing suspensions and adjusting handle bars. The shop is also a great place for motivation and preparation, offering generous knowledge and patience for questions about long cycling trips. Other services and food vendors are located in the same basement, including a new pizza place with a very cool concept. Customers can get food, like raspberry sorbet to cool down, while they wait for their bike. It is a highly recommended place to stop for service and refreshment.
Stopped in because my tires were riding low. They graciously let me use the pump. I bought some handlebar tape and Nate quickly put it on for me. Highly recommend.

I had my bike repaired perfectly and bought a fantastic used bike while I was there. Very fair prices, and Nate was incredibly nice to work with. Great work on the bikes, and fast as well. The shop is an elevator ride down from the pizza place. They even have an air hose to fill up your tires out front. Thank you!

Promptly completed a complicated tire repair that no other shop would tackle. Hard to find. Worth the effort.
