I purchased my used F Type from lake bluff. Though I don't live in the area, I'm incredibly happy with the vehicle that was provided! They really spent time to ensure I would get a fine vehicle and be happy with my purchase. Doug was quite a schrewd negotiator and was able to get me slightly over my top of budget. Additionally, I've never seen a dealer have so many F-Types on their lot, it inspires confidence in their mechanics given they regularly see the highest trims.

I took my vehicle to them because my vehicle was overheating. I received a video stating that I needed a new radiator and I had a oil leak and needed a bleed hose. They were notified that I had a warranty so called the warranty company and was authorized certain repair while I paid the balance. After receiving my car back, two days later, my engine overheated again! I took it back and was told it was the thermostat. They called my warranty company who stated the thermostat wasn't covered. Because they knew they messed up, the replaced the thermostat. Only two days later my car overheated yet again! They then called my warranty company yet again. They then fnd out my warranty wasn't going to pay for a new engine so then began accusing me of driving my car while overheated and stated I used the wrong coolant and then stated my "partner was threatening to shoot them" which were all lies. Why wasn't any of this stated prior? They knew their misdiagnosis caused my engine to overheat two additional times which damaged the engine. Now, I have to pay 15,000.00 for a new engine while they hide behind their incompetence. I had high hopes and trust in this place and was so disappointed. They lack experience and accountability.

So I would say Imperial Motors was very easy to work with. I called and asked if the car was available. First I didn't get the give me your number so I can call you back and hounded you. I got asked if I can hold. They said yes and if I would like to come see it. They were very pleasant to deal with. Doug was very professional with me and my wife. The F-pace we purchased was truly beautiful and better than the description in the ad. When we are in the market for a new car we will definitely keep Imperial motors in mind. If you like a no game playing dealership this is it !

Minimum diag fee of 2 hours or $450, so if you need a software update, or you need a convenience feature turned on only by JLR computers, literally plug in and hit a button. Seems like they just want to sell cars.
