“Cacktus Furniture is a good place to buy quality furnitures and other house stuff. I bought my bed buy, rugs and comforter I love it, it’s prizing but it worth it. Thanks for the $75 birthday coupon i highly recommend”
“Jennifer and Micaela in customer service are the best. I had an issue with a piece of furniture being delayed, and those girls made sure to make it right. I have basically furnished my last two house with furniture from Value City. You cant go wrong shopping here.”
“Terry R. is an outstanding Lazy Boy employee! Took plenty of time with us as we decided about our purchase. Explained everything from top to bottom and left us with an exceptional experience!”
“Super cool stuff! Great for gifts and unique home finds. The young lady working there is super knowledgable, helpful, and patient. The buyer/owner needs to be commended for some great, unique finds. A bit pricey, but considering the high rent district, I get it.”
“If I could, I would give Upscale Rummage 10 stars! This place is truly amazing. Do you love thrifting? Do you think you've got your thrifting routine all worked out? Do you think you've got your line up of unmissable Chicago thrifts sorted? You are wrong... unless you've already been to Upscale Rummage already and this is your number #1 thrifting experience. No thrift store in Chicago gets even near the fabulousness of this place. It's huge but it is not filled with garbage. New and incredible stuff comes in every week! Great antique and modern furniture, light fixtures, books, records, clothes, jewelry, kitchenware, gardening, sport gears, textiles, rugs, mirrors and art... they also have a year-round Xmas shop and regular department discounts. This shop is also incredibly well curated. Items are very fairly priced too. Rene', the owner, and her army of charming helpers are a true delight. Always smiling and welcoming. We bought so much from this store. It has brought so much joy. We end up there almost every week and rarely leave empty handed. And the money goes to charity. I mean, what more do you want? This is the one and only thrift store in you need. Chicagoans, take a trip to Libertyville and learn how it's done. If you have not been to Upscale Rummage yet, you don't know what thrifting is about. Go. NOW!”
“I've watched my fair share HGTV shows where the designer goes to some kooky place filled with trinkets and treasures of times gone by. This place is a bit like that but mixed with the early days of Etsy. "Designers" can rent an 8x8 or bigger "storefront" to showcase their unique designs. Mostly stuff reclaimed from decades gone by and redesigned with some kind of flair. There's generally a theme to the different storefronts: women's vintage clothing, funny and lovey-dovey sayings regarding dogs and cats, plastic and silk flowers, dairy and farm, sarcastic sayings, whiskey barrel designs for the men dragged into this place, etc.
My wife and I found a whimsical chip and dip bowl. It was nice and will replace one of the blander versions we have at home.
Truthfully, there were quite a bit of items that were perfect housewarming gifts and gifts for people who have specific decor tastes.
It's also a decent place to just kill some time browsing through all the stuff people have created to get your own creative juices flowing.”
“This place has a good selection, but it is really overwhelming and unorganized. We went on a Saturday but there were no carts anywhere to be found.
Also was hard to find a person that worked there to help, and while there is a larger selection at the combined store it was really congested. It just seemed like there was a lot of unorganization and disarray. Now this could be because we went on a Saturday, but Ive been to a lot of stand alone Home Goods and it didnt feel the same.”
“This is my first-stop gift shop. Without exception, every gift from Greenleaf Gallery has been a hit with the recipients; from clothes, to eclectic household wares, to art. The customer service is also first rate. I highly recommend it!”
“Very clean store. Goods well displayed. Was asked if I needed assistance right away. Staff was helpful in locating wedding shower gift. Check out was fast. Plenty of free parking.”
“Floor & Decor really has the largest selection, best prices and amazing customer service. Sarahi gave us the best price! I'm due in 2 weeks and decided now was the perfect time to redo floors. I thought shipping would be quick but it turned out to be 2-3 weeks. This location only had 27 out of the 59 boxes we needed so I was in panic mode. Sarahi went above and beyond calling other locations not only for stock but also to match the price! I am forever grateful for all of Sarahi assistance! Going to only use Floor & Decor for all my future flooring needs!”
“When our civilization is gone and future generations excavate our archeological remains they will find...Bob Ross toaster and panini maker? They will ponder, who was this individual and why did they embellish their bread with his likeness? This and other similar items are available at Hobby Lobby. I ventured in HL today in search of a multi-generational craft. I settled on painting metal containers that we can fill with candy. I decided against painting on glass because, well, breakable. I think the painting/candy eating activity will be just fine. I found all that I needed here, along with other things I don't (see toaster, above) and most of it on sale (sometimes up to 70 percent off). Surprisingly, most of the Easter items were already cleared away for patriotic red white and blue items (Memorial Day? Flag Day? Fourth of July ?).”
“I want to start off by saying that I called Penny Mustard customer Service about a question on how to get a king size mattress which I had "inherited" up my stairs. The mattress (which was purchased from Penny Mustard by a friend who decided to move out of state) sat in my living room for a month before attempting to hike it up the stairs. I called Penny Mustard to ask if they had any advice and spoke to Donna who not only was friendly and very knowledgeable about mattresses. She took the time to speak to me about "folding the mattress in half" and getting it up the stairs. And she was so right! We got the king size mattress up the stairs like professional movers.Thank you Donna for taking the time and sharing your wisdom in mattress moving and for an excellent customer experience.”
“We recently had a piece of stain glass that we made but needed some repair. In addition to repairing the glass he also correctly installed a proper lead frame so that we can hang it without causing damage again. This guy is the real deal. He does beautiful work.”

They worked with us to pick out the a really nice piece and it was installed very quickly. There were some hicups during installation, but they worked with us and they were quickly resolved. The installer who has been with them forever was very professional and knowledgable. Now we have a new light that changes the entire room. We will use Jacobsons for our future business”

Thanks! Would highly recommend an air mattress and shopping at the Vernon Hills location !”
“Awesome spot to check out for home decor! They've got such cool and one-of-a-kind pieces at really good prices. I usually prefer online shopping, but sometimes you just need to see and feel the quality in person. Such a great deal all around.”
“I stopped in to get some gifts for friends. They have a nice price range of items, appropriate for gift giving. I especially like the Porcelain Not Metal tabletop line for gifts. They wrap the gifts very attractively too, so I don't have to wrap them.”

“I had a faulty machine I bought at another store and came in two days in a row from Chicago to fix. While my first expiration with Shanu wasn’t the best it was due to personal error forgetting the receipt. That being said the manager Mary was so nice and helped me and my friend quickly and easily while making polite banter. Overall wonderful experience with Mary! Thanks girl!”

“I love visiting this Garden Center! I don't live in the area, but when I visit, Pasquesi's is on my list. The plants and shrubs are excellently taken care of. It's a wonderful place to find a gift for my pet sitters. The products they sell are top notch. Definitely add Pasquesi's to your shopping list!”
