3250 Oak Grove Ave Suite B, Waukegan“I personally attended a "Pack Event" where we took an hour or so to pack diapers for families in need. Everything was set up easily for our group to pack as much as possible and Ann Marie was a great host. I would definitely recommend planning or attending an event in addition to any donations for their great cause!”

850 S Green Bay Rd, Waukegan“I had a furniture donation pick up this week from this location. Have to say the prior reviews scared me a bit that it wouldn’t go well. I prepared the furniture so that everything was easy for the pick up. Bagged the pillows, removed the. Cushions so they could easily carry it out the door to the truck.
2 very polite guys showed up, and carried it out quickly on a 90 degree day. I had very cold water for them and a tip as well. These guys work very hard so I wanted to post a positive review to change the tide here!
Do your part, make it easy for them to take your used furniture and u shouldn’t have any issues. Thank u Salvation Army for making this easy to do. Much appreciated!”

2720 Dundee Rd Ste 229, Northbrook“A wonderful shelter run by wonderful people! I adopted Tux the pigeon from the Refuge and he was so well taken care of and loved there, I almost felt bad taking him home with me! They make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before you can adopt, which I respect a great deal. Rich and Karen care deeply for all of their animals and give every single one nothing but the best.”
“It was a nice goodwill. Many things are packed on the shelves in the hardlines area, & a very large section of the clothing is dedicated to Woman's Clothing's. Men's section of clothing I found it hard to find any short sleeve collared shirts. Each size of the section didn't have much more than 3 feet of clothing of nothing special brands. I've noticed that many of the 50% tags are missing. They could have been pulled to make more room for new items, but with much space already available, I am unsure why.
This place was a bit clean & organized other Goodwills I have visited.
I really appreciate that they have a bick rack outside the store. Much appreciated.
I wasn't able to find much today. But there's always another day for many new things to come in.”

“I went there for a yelp event. it was calledneon night and it was a fundraiser. I have never been here prior to it nor was I familiar with it. It seems like a wonderful organization. You can donate books or money, and it helps children that don't have the means to buy books and you donate money or books, and it helps them. The CM of the North Shore suburbs Keisha and her assistant were kind enough to organize this.”
