HORRIBLE SERVICE! Owner sent wrong product to me & refused to pay the postage I would have to spend on sending item back. Was extremely rude and started arguing with me in a very loud voice, essentially just yelling over my attempt to say anything! Take your business elsewhere & save yourself the aggravation (over an $11.25 item)!!!

I am beyond happy with this store…I ordered some items 2 days ago and I just opened the box at my house. I was looking like a maniac for the brand new Walh KM10 all over the internet and the Midwest Grooming supplies were the only store with it available “brand new”.I have to say that this store have the best prices in the online market for pet grooming. I am not a groomer but bought a clipper for my cats...groomers are so expensive!! The blade was dull and wasn't working properly. It was quite a drive there as there are not many grooming repair shops. The owner was so responsive and prioritized my repair knowing how far I traveled. His prices are super reasonable and he is great to work with, so knowledgeable!! And such a nice guy, I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their clippers. Note that the storefront is a little hard to see from the street look towards the back of the storefronts.

I initially was extremely pleased with my service. I was dropping off a bunch of blades and shears before I went on vacation in WI in late August. Gentleman I spoke to was able to arrange for my equipment to be shipped to my salon ASAP after sharpening. I regularly only use my 10s, 40s, 30s, and 7s and the ones I pulled from my returned gear were just fine. They cut hair well and I didn't have any issues. Today I pulled out my buttercuts (these were serviced but have remained in the well package paper they were returned in) and I am shocked that not one of my buttercuts blades is cutting hair without significant tugging. I have never had a buttercut pull this way, even dull. After inspecting them, several of them are misaligned. I cannot easily move the blade out even well-oiled which tells me the tension is totally off... I'm flabberghasted. I spent $180 on this visit and was very open on the condition of my blades and asked him to contact me if any of my blades were a lost cause as I know they had been abused for too long. I also asked if he could recycle some of my 30 blades that had broken guards of their parts were useable and he wanted them, otherwise they can be disposed of. This is written on paper, we both had a copy. Not only did he not reach out to me about my blades he still sharpened them and charged me. I asked for a replacement blade on my ceramic, it was not replaced. I wasn't charged for it, but it wasn't done. I'm very bummed I was excited to have a sharpener close enough to personally drop my blades off but I will continue to send my blades in instead. Now it's been almost 2 months since my blades were serviced and because I finally just unwrapped them instead of immediately double checking the work, I am going to have to pay for these to be sharpened again and potentially replaced. I would've appreciated a voice mail even.I will leave 2 stars because despite my dislike of the quality of service to my tools, the gentleman was nice enough and accommodating with my shipping needs and speed of delivery. I just wish my blades were in better condition than when I left them.

I must have done something right that universe made my path crosses Midwest Grooming supplie's path. Besides prices finding genuine grooming tools and suppliesare is truly frustrating. Somehow I lost the drive cap of my andis excel. It is refreshing to call the number in a website. And not only get a working number but also the person who answered is actually knowledgeable. Chuck is helpful, kind and efficient. I was able to order a bunch of little things and received them in 2 days. All of the stuff are the real ones. Thank you very much. You got a client for life.

Owner is recommended by Andis as a place to purchase clippers in bulk but the owner is rude and hung up in my face when I inquired. Impatient and rude. Andis doesn't have a standard for this customer service?

Chuck was extremely knowledgeable not to mention offering accommodations that go above and beyond what I would ever dare to ask of someone in business. I live as far SW as you can in Chicago which made getting to him impossible before he closed for the weekend, especially because when I called he had already been closed for about 15 minutes unbeknownst to me. At any rate he did pick up my phone call, educated me on what I was interested in purchasing, and arranged for me to be able to pick it up after hours!Now if that doesn't put him in a class by himself I don't know what would. I definitely do not believe that "Scamazon" offers this level of customer support nor service. We are thrilled all the way around including with the performance of the product. Go to Chuck or just go home ?!
