The nurses are condescending and rude like they know what is best for your child over the parent advocating for their needs. There is more than one way to do healthcare. When I spoke to the office manager Wendy about it, she backed up the nurse and didn't seem to mind what kind of poor attitude the staff has. Reading through other reviews made me realize I'm not the only parent that has been talked to this way and dismissed by the office manager. The doctors are good, but they aren't aware of how their nurses and office clerks are to their clients. Like many others, I'm pulling my kid out of Children and Teens Medical Center. To be immediately lectured over the phone with a condescending tone when I asked for a second option to getting my kid treatment was the final straw. Wendy Lembke doesn't care how her staff talks to anyone. It's all about money. Don't bring your kid here.

I called about 3 weeks ago for an appointment for my son, for an infection on his face...they were not concerned about that health issue, only Covid. They didn't want to see him and didn't even return my call even though it was around 9 am when I contacted them. Rude Staff is always rude

The only reason I have 2 stars is because I eventually get what I came here for. Usually a child's physical or immunization. Other than that, the staff is condescending. Every time, not just an off day. I have been meaning to find my children a new place for years but haven't made the time but as I am currently sitting in my car with my 6 year old (COVID policies) as my other child is inside going on a full hour without being seen, I am taking my paying insurance elsewhere.

They saved my son's life. I'll wait in their waiting room as long as I have to if it means getting the amazing expertise they have (and for the record I've never had to wait too long). My son was 2 months old at the time and I was told by the ER Dr that he just had a cold, but to follow up with my Pediatrician. I saw Dr. Mannion the following day and after meticulous observations and questions she determined that there was much more going on than a cold. She set up an appointment with a specialist for 45 minutes after my appointment with her which then led us to the children's hospital which then save his life. I trust her explicitly. Nothing is perfect in this world, sometimes we have to wait longer in a Dr's office-1st world problems. I'm so thankful for this office, the sweet nurses, and wonderful doctors who make you feel listened to.

The Doctors are good. They take the time to listen and answer any questions you have. I have three children and have used this Medical Center throughout. I would give the Doctors 4 stars. The place is not well maintained and the office staff can be rude. Wait times are inconsistent and getting an appointment can be a challenge. Just getting medical records is a challenge unless I come in and pick them up. Otherwise It can take two weeks to get them. What I take offense to is making you wait and acting like your time is less valuable than a Doctor. If you don't want to wait for the Doctor then you are considered a "no show" and charged. Their business comes first and your time is secondary.

Great place if you like sitting in waiting rooms.

My husband and I are so happy with Children and Teens Medical Center! They are very quick to get us in for an appointment when needed. They call back to answer questions in a timely manner. All of the staff is so friendly and very helpful. They always seem happy to see us. Both the nurses and doctors spend enough time with you to answer ALL questions.

I would not recommend bringing your newborn babies or children here. The service is disrespectful. For example, I never was late for any appointments, until 8/31/18, I was 7 minutes past my 10am appointment with Dr. Luanne Lane, at the front door of the facility, and they told me to leave, and that I needed to reschedule. I had a 6 month year old baby that I had to wake up, feed, change, and get in him in the car and drive to the appointment. I was appalled that I was told to leave. Not to mention, my husband and I have never been impressed with the facility. It is not well maintained, equipment looks 20+ years old, and has always appeared dirty...especially the sinks and floors. We continued to go because of a referral we received, but we will no longer be bringing our child here.
