I would like to start my review by saying "HELLO DARLING." This was an interesting shop for me because I was unsure whether this shop would have anything for me. But, upon suggestions, I ventured to this shop. I was in this area previously but never knew that there was a hidden gem (shop) in the area. Where were you "The Darling Shop"? Upon entering the store, the store associate welcomed me by placing a white disco ball necklace around my neck (I felt like I was given a medal for partying hard lol) and handed me the goodie bag. She was sweet and patient. As a part of the event, the goodie bag had white disco ball necklace, pink disco ball drink tumblers, facial cleansing wipe, nail polish and some stickers. She explained to me a little history about the store. It blew me away when I knew that this store sells their goods from local area small businesses, people etc. The Darling shop is a stage for all these mini businesses where every product is made with minute detail. This was my first surprise. The store had party stuff, women's fashion, baby stuff was on the right side from the counter, home goods, sunglasses on the left side to the wall and many more. There was one section where they had various kinds of greeting cards. There were a variety of things in the store. My first look was that it was a store for women but as I went around for a bit then it was eye-catching when I saw they had a small section for men which was my second surprise. They had Men's accessories, clothing, and grooming. Upon looking, I bought a black pair of socks for myself. To sum up, the store was cool with such a variety of daily goods. I could not get to meet the owner NIKKI, but the store instantly gives you happy vibes with all the positive quotes around the store and for the stuff they are selling. I also checked out their website which was great, but the only recommendation is it would be nice if the font color is white (other color) on top and bottom of the website as it can be more visible. I would recommend my friends to explore this store. Lastly, for me, THE DARLING STORE = INSTANT HAPPINESS.

600th Review used on this shop. The Darling is so cute. It is definitely one of the most charming boutiques that I have ever visited. Everything in the store is not only picture perfect but unique. This shop is woman ran however they have items for men and children. I initially came here for a Yelp Event but then decided to come back to grab items for upcoming Rosè Festival. I just couldn't pass up those heart shaped cups. I suggest that if you need a special gift to try this store. Items available to celebrate a special occasion is vast. I saw items for: wedding, babies, birthdays, graduation, pool time, jewelry, grooming, handmade cards and many more. They even had office supplies and decorations. This area near La Grange Village is just so cute. So many restaurants...so many stores to shop and plenty of free parking. Worth the drive from the city in my opinion. You will not regret venturing out to The Darling Shop.

This was a dangerous store for me to be in because EVERYTHING IS SO DARN CUTE. The store is small and mighty. Cute, kitschy, and trendy. Funny. Basically what the store I never knew I needed but now that I know it exists, I will forever be wanting to go visit it. I don't know how to exactly describe this store but I will do my best - the vibe is trendy and whimsical with a lot of cool finds and a lot packed into the store. There is a wall filled with various designed cards with funny/cute/sweet fronts and blank insides for all your party needs. There are party favors, there are multiple places to find stickers, including a whimsy sticker wall, there's a shaving/beer/tie section, a section of kitschy, yet heartwarming gifts including cat clocks, puzzles, mugs, really intricate candles, and other gifts. Oh! And there's this really cool wall of push pins/buttons you can wear with punny sayings on them. There is a whole beauty supply section and SO MUCH MORE. I myself, purchased a few items including a Taylor Swift coloring activity book (for my SISTER of course), a push pin that says you are Fabuloso in a Fabuloso bottle, a cat sticker and a card for someone's upcoming nuptials. There is also a wall to take a picture shall you feel in the mood or if you prefer to just to sit in a comfy chair next to a wall that looks like you could take a picture next to that is available too. The staff are Amazing and super kind and friendly. Answering all kinds of questions, offering up information and just helping you feel welcome. Lastly - their 3 year anniversary is coming up at the end of June 2022 and they said there will be some more cool things happening there. I don't even know how to describe everything in this store except by saying - YOU SHOULD GO SEE FOR YOURSELF! LOVE LOVE LOVE this store! The cutest little shop I've ever came across! Think trendy and Instagrammable, but make it local! I mean seriously, all their items they sell are so cute, unique, and stylish. Bright colors, patterns, neon lights, smiley faces everywhere - we loveeee to see it. They have jewelry, lights, stationary, mugs, makeup, and all types of accessories from claw clips to big glasses to satchels. You could take a picture in every corner of this shop and it would turn out cute I swear. The best part about it is that almost each item is handmade and made from a local designer/creator of some sort. Everything here has a personal touch. They even packaged/wrapped my items like it was a present; it was so thoughtful and authentic. The employee working was super friendly and easy to talk to. If you're looking for something fun and fashionable, The Darling Shop is the perfect place to go. I'm definitely coming here next time I need room decor, a fun card, nice smelling candle, or a cute necklace or pair of earrings, or all of the above ;)

The Darling Shop is just that - darling! Cute on the outside and adorable on the inside. The attractive little boutique has a bit of everything. Accessories, kid's clothes, greeting cards, novelty items and home decor. Wow! It seems like the perfect place to buy a gift some some stylish person or to pick up a neat item for your condo. The room is bright and cheerful. Everything is displayed in such an eye catching way. The young girl working was super friendly and welcoming. She chatted with us about the history of the store, things they carry and the neat chair & neon sign, perfect for photos. I will definitely stop in again when looking for a unique gift for someone or even a little something for myself!

I went in because there was a set of scented gel pens that caught my eye I knew my daughter would love. As I looked around more, I picked up a baby yoda pin for my son and some unicorn pens and erasers for my niece. Definitely a great place to buy cute, unique gifts.

Really cute shop! The employees were very helpful. The employees took all precautions against COVID-19. She never took off her mask. Definitely recommend!!
