Overall great experience. Eddie is fantastic to work with. Had three separate, unrelated repairs (replaced mirror, rear hatch dent, and corner bumper replacement). No insurance involved. Total repair bill was about the same as what three separate insurance deductibles would have been. A very fair price.
The work was exceptional and finished within the timeframe estimated. I actually live out of state but travel to Chicago monthly. Eddie worked around my schedule and made it very easy for me when I came back to town.
I was referred by our mechanic and others. They have a great reputation and it's well deserved!!

I never post reviews but my experience with Eddie at John's Auto Body was so great that I have to sing his praises. I stopped in with an issue with my outside mirror. He checked it out, fixed it on the spot and would not accept any payment. He even went into the shop, came back out with a damp cloth, and cleaned the mirror and cover. His knowledge and his kindness were truly amazing. I cannot recommend highly enough John's Auto Body.

I had to wait for several months for the parts to come in, but my car was drivable. When we finally took it in on Monday, the work was completed by Wednesday, including inside and outside cleaning of the car. My phone conversations with Ed were quick and respectful. I highly recommend John’s Auto Body shop.

John's did a fantastic job of repairing damage to my car. Eddie was relentless is pursuing the elusive knuckle coupling that was almost impossible to obtain due to the autoworkers strike. He kept us informed along they way and we felt his passion for his work.

This place is amazing. This is our second time using the shop. I cannot say enough great things about the work that they do here. The pricing is amazing. I brought my car into the shop for work on the side profile. They did an amazing job. The work was fast and it was clean. The customer service is five star. No option for zero stars? Well, last week, I asked my daughter to take my car into John's, after calling to inquire about process to bring car in for insurance estimate. I was told "Sure, just come in Monday-Wednesday, anytime. We will take pictures and get an estimate going". When my daughter arrived (Wednesday 6/7/23) and asked for an estimate, she was belittled, literally laughed at. She was told that "an estimate doesn't get your car fixed" and that is not the way things are done - a person must commit to a shop and John's Auto Body does not do estimates. In this day and age, you would think that men would have some sort of understanding that women have cars too. You would think that a business would be a little nicer to a 19 year old girl just asking for assistance. You would think that a human being would have the kindness in their soul to actually take a minute and discuss things with a person coming into their business. I ask you, how would you treat your own daughter? A shame, a real shame. Will never ever go here, will never ever recommend, will never ever mention your business name again.

Such a great experience here from the beginning of our first consultation.I met Eddie at the shop where he took pictures of the damage on my vehicle.Eddie than ordered parts the same day and contacted me within less than a week to let me know that the parts were in and that he would get them painted.I dropped my car the night before as they conveniently have a key drop. At open Eddie contacted me with the plan for my car that day. He had my car ready & finished at 3PM that day. Eddie and his team went above and beyond repairing my bumper! they did a deep cleaning of my very dirty car which I so much very appreciate more than you know.Additionally the insulation on my driver side window was coming down which is sooo annoying. Eddie and the team went above and beyond to simply fix that repair and just did it! I literally didn’t even ask for any of these extra services to to be done they just went the extra mile cause there great!It’s seriously just the small things and the fact that this team went the extra mile for me as a first time customer You all have earned yourself a lifelong customer. My car had damage in several places. I contacted John's (partially because of the reviews I read) After several weeks of delay (mine), I dropped it off and was given a date to retrieve it. One day ahead of time, the call came. I was impressed by the quality of the work, the finished look, and the personal attention i encountered . The outside looked great, but I needed a really good interior cleaning, and was about to ask if they had any recommendation for a detail shop. to my surprise, I was told "we've aleady cleaned it". And how they did! Even found an old debit card that I'd searched for, knowing it was in the car somewhere. My 5-year old car looked and smelled like a new car inside! Kudos, Eddie and the staff!
