“Fair muffler… Goodyear got me in on a Saturday to test and evaluate a battery and alternator and then were able to replace the battery and have me on the road in an hour and a half. They seem to do quality work and the employee was kind and professional and really helpful in selecting a battery. Besides that given the cars on their lot, it looks like they do quite a business so I’m not the only one that finds them to be top-notch.”
“Hands-down the best mechanics I've ever worked with. My Fiancee came home today with a rattling noise under her car. After calling 4 mechanics in the La Grange Area who were all booked until the following Friday or next week, we were able to pull into KG Repair Shop where they took us right on the spot. They threw the car on the lift, inspected the car for about 20 minutes, and found the issue was the brakes. They promptly removed the tires and showed us the back brake pads, clearly worn down. Told us be back in an hour and it would be done! Easily the fastest inspection, diagnosis, and repair I've had in years. And I come from a family who had 6 cars since 2000!Not only was the diagnosis and repair high-quality and quick, it was CHEAP and HONEST! I get there expecting a standard repair cost, and it was literally a third of what I'm used to! They cost less total than most places cost just for labor. The true cherry on top was, not only did I get their invoice, they also included the receipt from the auto parts shop they got the part from. It was complete transparency on parts cost and labor.I won't ever go to another mechanic again as long as I live in Illinois.
