I went in to ask some questions & left with a membership lol. Maritza gave me a lot of useful info; newcomer Jackie gave me a tour & signed me up. They had a Valentine’s Day deal going on so I saved some money. The first time I went in to workout, they had a cart full of bags filled with sweet potatoes. Turns out that was leftover food from their Community Market event for seniors that they have 2x/month. You better believe I took home some sweet potatoes lol.

I love this YMCA. I've been going to the Greater Lagrange Y for about 20 years but have been a member for about 35 years. It really is like family.

Friendly staff, no macho intimidating folks, good selection of equipment, studio/stretch rooms, machines, weights, benches, squat rack, preacher curl station. Basic locker rooms. Classes. Neighborhood vibe, not commercial gym vibe. generous hours. Good value

Staff are friendly and welcoming and keep the facility clean. I feel safe here, unlike my last gym experience. Equipment is ok. I wish they were open later. Overall, more enjoyable than my last gym!

$10 for a day pass is excessive. Exercise equipment was alright. There isn’t a crazy selection of equipment but there’s enough to get your workout done.
