We had a business checking account for my business for the past 20 plus years, and we closed my business in October of 2023, and needed to cancel this checking account. My wife called and we were told to come in for all the help needed. We stopped in and we were told my name, the owner, was not on this account, yet my signature card was on Mercy's screen, and yet I could not do anything on my own account, due to their ERRORS. Mercy kept telling us to write a business check out to close the account and yet she had just cancelled this account to give us a cashier's check. Then she repeated this statement several times, until I corrected her statement and she said that was what she had said to us, IT WAS NOT. Mercy wanted to help us get any other accounts with them, I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM TO DO ANYTHING MORE FOR US, AND MOST OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD READ THIS AND BE AWARE. We needed to go back to this location 3 times to cancel 1 account, good luck trying to get more business from us. The way Mercy handled this whole transaction and tried to make us look like the dummies was not anyway to deal with any customer, leaving or not. The cashier's check numbers did not match the paperwork they gave to us and we were told it was all okay. They wanted the paperwork back from us after they corrected their mistakes, to which we answered NO THANKS AND WE WILL GET RID OF OUR PAPERWORK. I truly do not see any bank making this many mistakes during 1 transaction, staying in business for more than a week, maybe just dumb luck. PLEASE LOSE OUR PHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES, AS WE ARE DONE WITH YOUR BANK, and please never ever contact us again.
