“Great shop with an excellent selection. I bought some jewelry and a small catch all dish. Shop owners were super sweet and helpful. We had a great chat with them.
Prices were reasonable in general.
Would definitely return if it in town again.

3633 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago“The employee was very kind and right away asked what I was looking for and showed me around. This place is very organized and clean and has a wide range of decor and furniture! Truly special pieces that have been curated - not a junk/ thrift store”
“Alan upholstery shop in Westchester is a rare store that still believes in craftsmanship, customer service and designer detailing. Whether it's wood, fabrics or total redesigning of an old piece of furniture, do yourself a favor and go check out what they do. Angel (master craftsman) is all about aesthetics, quality and creating the best "look/feel" for you home or office. I had chairs reupholstered and I purchased furniture that have become center pieces for my home. Simply the best. - John Calerway”

“I have a 20 year old Amish table and chair set that needed repair. The table was cracked and the chairs were wobbly and needed refinishing. Greg did a masterful job in restoring the set to its previous splendor. I can’t tell where the crack was in the table and the chairs are gorgeous. I highly recommend The Furniture Recycler for anything that you think is worth restoring. His price is very reasonable and his work is exceptional!

“Fantastic vintage shop. Lots of great pieces. Filled with collectible glassware and decor. As a collector and reseller, it’s not priced in a way that works for me but it’s still got a great selection for those who aren’t looking for a crazy steal.”

125 N Marion St, Oak Park“Really bummed that I specifically went out of my way to come visit this jeweler and when I got there the location was no longer operating out of their physical store. Not sure if they have a different store elsewhere or are just operating online now. Their website doesn’t mention a closure nor does their Instagram page where they are still active @goldhatpin. I would suggest calling or messaging them if you were hoping to see something in person. I’m leaving a 5 star review because they offer really incredible pieces. They just seem to be based on Instagram now a days.”
“A fantastic experience working with them. Brian is one of the most knowledgeable and honest person I know. Every time I talk with him, I know I'm getting a good deal.”

123 N York St, Elmhurst“This is the only place to purchase Lanzi Carnel nut chew candy. I called a bunch of different stores and nobody knew what I was talking about. I will definitely be back as the store has alot of random things wives live to buy. The person at this location (wish I asked for her name) extremely helpful and made my experience very nice. A gem to visit if your in Elmhurst!!!!”
“It seems there’s a new owner running the store. There was an amazing vinyl record collection which was priced really well. Also some retro turntables and receivers there that looked to be in great shape.”

Also this 1993 Trendmasters Halloween Foam Blow Mold Jack o’ Lantern, excellent condition. So dramatic, so vintage, so Halloween ?”

“I think it’s a great place. Very interesting things. Antiques, pottery, posters, records, instruments, and more. Shannon is a great guy his prices are very very fair he is very honest and even said to us “I truly want your honesty” when we bought some violins from him. If your into it, great place to go”
“Sue is a lovely lady that showed us the respect and dignity for our deceased parents' cherished vintage items. She offered us a fair price and I am grateful that these items, though hard to part with, were going to a nice store, where they will be appreciated, with a sweetheart of an owner! Thank you, Sue!”
