I mean every time I go in here it always seems that I'm annoying every one there.. they will look at you and wait until U speak and the older lady completely put the young folk under the bus about none of them wanting to work on weekends! I'm not the only minority in the neighborhood but I'll just go to the friendly locale in Berwyn..sorry! but my money and looks are just as yours or better.

I always stop here first.
When we moved to the area about 10 years ago and I needed to ream out the threads on an old hot water heater drain. I tried a bunch of options but ultimately went to Ace to get a 1/2” tap. I asked for help, they quickly showed me that part, but when I hesitated ($50) they asked what I needed it for. I told them it was only to clean out some threads and I’d probably never use it again. He told me to wait right there and he came back with the tap from their own toolbox. “Just bring it back”. Wait, so you’ll lose the $50 sale and trust me to bring this back? Amazing and a shining example of what we should all support by keeping our business with local, family owned shops.
They will forever be my first stop.
While it’s impossible for them to have everything, the selection is broad and they carry most of what you’ll need.

Came in to purchase paint for my Eagle Scout project. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, showing me how to get the right size paint for how I needed. The gentleman also showed me how the paint dispenser worked which was interesting. Another worker also gave me a free piece of corn? Idk what that was but it was also delicious

The service at this Ace is always top notch. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I stopped going to the Home Depot up the street about a year ago because the service was always terrible, none of the employees ever knew where things were kept, and good luck finding an expert to help provide knowledge for any home project. Night and day service at this Ace. Heather most recently helped us and went out of her way to find and suggest the best product for a simple weeding project. 10/10 service.

If I could give this business 10 Stars I would. We have been shopping here for years and have always been provided exceptional service. I bought a lawn mower there and my salesperson, Tony, went above and beyond what I expected. He explained every detail of the mower and made sure I got it to my home safely. This is a business that prides itself on customer service unlike others you go into today. Kudos to Tony and the entire staff of this ACE Hardware..

these guys are always friendly & knowledgeable. they helped with fixing an old gas grill manifold last year and then earlier this year they helped repair a baseball bat...keep up the great work!

Small town service in the city. What a guy, gentleman in the store did not have these duct crimpers for sale …but he lent me his own. What a guy, who does that? Good marks for this Ace, they are always friendly, have a good selection, the place is neat as a pin. Remember to stop here before you hit up that big box store if you want to keep privately owned hardware stores in business

This location particularly is the most helpful, knowledgeable, friendly hardware store in existence. I have never heard them say “no“. There’s always a resolution or creative solution for my projects. The wealth of knowledge inside those four walls is priceless. Do yourself a favor And patronize places like this where they have customer support who actually knows what they’re doing. It’s not always about supporting local, it’s about supporting the right cause. This store never disappoints.Shout out to Greg who always has the best advice.
