I rented a unit from 7/30-12/31/2022. First LA06 (5x10) then A25 (10x10).I’ve used them previously when it was under other management. This facility ran better before the change.On that first day, I discovered the unit I’d just rented was still locked and occupied. I was given a second unit number and same thing. I was told to wait two days and it would be vacated.It wasn’t clean of course, and I didn’t get a credit for those days.Additionally, the gate was broken the whole time I rented there in 2022.When I finally collected my remaining things, somehow everything in the front of the unit was covered in dirt. That has never happened before anywhere.The staff seemed rarely there.I’d pull up as the open sign was lit, only to find the sign to call their cell. Once I made an appointment for my lunch and the girl was 15 minutes late.Email is definitely the best way to communicate with them. I’d confirm they’re renting you a vacated unit before signing the agreement.

The staff at our location refused to take our bank card....and our cash. Plus everyone kept telling me that they had no listing for our storage shed. After a very frustrating phone conversation my husband got it taken care of only after I had cried over the phone to one lady about their customer service

Yesterday and today (Sept. 5th & 6th, 2020), when I went by Storage Solutions, 600 Entrance Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901, the main access gate on the street was wide open on both days--with no one in attendance. Public and street trash has free access to the whole facility including owner's office space and ALL PRE-PAID Private Storage Units. Why is that, Storage Solutions?Further, if there is NO security at this KANKAKEE Storage Solutions tomorrow (Sept. 7, 2020, LABOR DAY) I will communicate with the Illinois State Attorney General to file a formal complaint. I do not give up and forget such egregious matters. Also, I will file the same in Kankakee County and get as much negative publicity as able.

This place is safe. And great for storage, Just Don't be late on your payment because you will get charged up big. $25 bucks extra. The lock latches are not that good quility, which makes believe this storage is trying to save money. It's close alot. And hardly anyone ever in the office when they are supposed to be. Needs better management here.My friend just got his bill and raised 5 bucks for no rrason and Management that was there said He didn't know and said they can do that. Not good for your customers.
