Should take the “speedy” out of their name. I took my car here to fix two catalytic converters, it took 4 days. Every day he was telling me “I’ll have it done tomorrow. I’ll have it done the next day” now I’m waiting in the lot because I was told it’ll be done in 20 minutes, 30 minutes ago, and now was told it’s going to take another “30 minutes”. Very bad service.

Manifolds replaced (labor) 450 both sides of 5.3 Silverado, best prices hands down for exhaust work and everything else. Oil pan gasket 300$ for the same truck..to me my opinion it’s worth my 50min ride to them. The owner is the nicest man you can meet and the hardest worker

I used them 9/7/23. I was traveling and suddenly my car was running very rough. I limped the car to the auto parts store and got the codes P0201 and P0301 and a recommendation for a mechanic. It turned out to be Speedy Muffler and Brakes. I shared the findings and symptoms with the owner. He fit me in within an hour, confirmed the fuel injector cylinder 1 problem, and got me back on my way. I made it to the business I was going to just before close. Amen. Quality work at a very reasonable price. I live in Wisconsin and do my own car repairs. I wish I were closer to use these guys when needed. I took my vehicle here due to a brake light. They replaced the pads, but the brake light issue was not resolved. I am guessing they used pads that did not have a sensor connection.The good: availability and price were excellentThe bad: Communication was not great. I was told that I would be called before work was started. I was the first person of the day and I called ahead of time the day before. I called twice and was surprised to hear on the second call that the work was done. The brake light dashboard light was not resolved.Place has GREAT prices. They do have a waiting area, but it is not great. They will use parts you provide. I am not sure about the quality of the work. Everything appears to be working.Overall, if you need honest work done for cheap with no frills, this place appears to be decent. If you are looking for a dealer like experience, do not bother.

We were on our way thru from out of town and began to hear a horrible noise. It sounded like the front end falling out. Obviously driving we couldn't visualize anything. These guys had a shop full but willingly pulled us right in and found that we could have lost a fuel tank due to straps snapping. The whole crew was AMAZINGLY pleasant and the fix was reasonably priced.
