I feel this county doesn't do half of what other salvation army's do.... I mean it's hard to get decent help in Kankakee County without jumping thru some BIG HOOPS. OUR SECTION 8 HASN'T BEEN OPEN IN YEARS ALMOST A DECADE.But I did stop in there the other day there was a new guy in there. He was a ton of help. There was even a lady there after time and he still insisted on helping her too. I heard him saying that he was going to be doing the gift donations this week also it was just above and beyond that the guy did I forget his name but I would like to give kudos to that man, but like I said before I really feel that this county is a hard county to get help in when you slip and fall and could use some.
