I have had nothing but problems since I went to this bank and took out a personal loan. The person who assisted me name is Bayley. My understanding was I pay 6 months interest, then I pay the principal. First they tell me I will be notified when my due date is, and will be notified what my payments are. They wait 1 and half month and bill me a late fee. I was told after 6 months I will be notified what my payments are for the principal. 6 months later, I get a letter saying my interest was incorrect and going from 3.99 to 10 percent. And I don't pay the principal but the 10 percent interest. Dillion calls and say we'll it's in your contract and Bailey is very good and thorough. They say sorry but you can refinance. I swear to God I wish I said no to these people

My whole family have been with first financial bank for 20 years and I've never had so many issues with them. The branch manager Autumn allows her employees to choose which policies they follow and which ones they don't. I understand if a policy is policy fine, but when I go one time and this is how it's done and then I go next week and it's a different way because it's a different person. We have been late on our bills because one time they cash my payroll check and next time they won't because it's a different person. Autumn doesn't follow all the policies and don't make her staff either so no it's an issue and I tried speaking to her about it and she was very unprofessional and was yelling at me and threw my papers at me.I'm posting this here and filling a formal complaint with corporate.

I don't know if the mortgage guy is just dense or if he drinks his lunch every day. Daughter went for the Dream Builder Loan. Found it to be a "Bait & Switch" situation. Once they got her in the door the kept changing the requirements, the loan details, everything. She had to beg to even get a call back from the guy. Talk about way too much stress trying to get a loan. She finally called his boss Scott at the Indianapolis branch & he laughed at her for telling him about the poor customer service. I don't know how these guys sleep at night but I'm planning to make it my mission to tell everyone what they have done!

Do not bank here. Any interest you earn is far less than the fees they charge. My middle son turned 18 in late august (still in high school) His account automatically changed from a student account to a everyday account. This comes with a 5 dollar monthly fee and 3 dollars more if your not enrolled in e-statements. He always kept above the minimum of 250 ......until they took the paper statement fee out and then a min balance fee out on top of the monthly fee. 8 dollars in fees on Sept 1st 3 days after he turned 18. Why did they change his account because hes no longer a student because he's 18. They put the info about accounts changing in an obscure place on the statement. They did this with my oldest sone too 3 years ago and it took 2 month of arguing to get the fees dropped. I cancelled the checking and my oldest closed his account. We kept it open to have a local bank for depositing cash sometimes. We went from 4 accounts to 2. Would've thought they got the message. Stay away from this bank. Mainsource was soooo much better. They will rob you blind with fees. We switched to USAA and when my middle son turned 18 they called within a week to wish him happy birthday and let him know of the other products that are at his disposal since he turned 18 and to assist in transitioning from a child/student account to another type when he is ready. Not one single fee. Save at first financial at your own financial risk.

This is terrible service. There is no personal or local phone service. I can't download my online account to my files. They have cut enough corners that I am going to take my banking business elsewhere. This is pathetic.

Tellers are cool and reasonable. Only bad thing is the mobile banking is always behind. I never know what’s actually in my account. Plan on switching to Wells Fargo.

Shannon Moore (First Financial, Bradley, IL) was a tremendous help in getting a mortgage and buying our new home. We were on a time crunch and Shannon moved it thru the process quickly and smoothly, and we completed it all remotely! We really appreciate his patience and assistance thru the process. He's definitely an asset to First Financial! Thank you First Financial and a special thanks to Shannon!

I miss Main Source Bank. First Financial Bank sucks. I get weird service charges where they will take 9 dollars from me and then the next morning they give it right back and they've done this more than once. My transactions are ALWAYS pending and very slow to process so I have to babysit my account and make sure the amount they are saying is in there is actually in there. Horrible. Will be changing banks as soon as I am not sick anymore and can get to it.
