I've yet to check out this Thorntons location that currently lies on the original location of the (somewhat) historic Casseday House that was moved a few blocks east. Overall it's a big location in the Joliet area near the heart of the city. Easy access to the streets and other shops. Great to come here during the day but a place to avoid at night. Store isn't the cleanest or the best stocked. Staff here is friendly too. Overall, solid location

I think I had a bad case of food poisoning from eating the ice cream because afterwards I started having bad stomachache that lasted all night.

Place hires Disgusting people I went in at 12:40 today take is it to get Mountain Dew and some snacks It's not and the lady at the register when she was ringing my stuff up she was coughing into her hands and then touching my stuff

Not the greatest area (I live In the area, so not judging). However, the employees here are unbelievable. The poise in which I've seen them deal with unruly customers is unbelievable. They're great at what they do....especially a woman named Tami. I believe she's the manager..she really is incredible at her job!

Whoever the gentleman is that is working night shift on 4th of July, needs a promotion and a fat raise! My nephew was going to buy some candy. Well being young he didn’t calculate right. So when he didn’t have enough I told the clerk I wouldbe right back with the rest. This guy…..(blonde hair, shaved on sides, longer on top in a bun or ponytail) believe it or not, covered the rest of it. He literally took money from his pocket and paid for the rest of my nephews purchase. Needless to say, it totally MADE MY NIGHT to know people like him DO exsist. It also made my nephews night. He felt so special. He smiled the whole way home. Kudos to whoever hired him. I will definitely drive the extra few miles now just to go there #customerforlife
