Got my hair and makeup done for a wedding and was thrilled with the results. The salon is comfortable and chic, and the dogs are so precious! And despite it being summer in Illinois, my hair and makeup stayed perfect for the 6 hour wedding, plus 2 hours of pictures, in 90 degree heat with 80% humidity. I didn’t smell great, but I sure looked good! Even my lipstick stayed on all night.
wish I lived in Joliet so I could go every week. Highly recommend.

I used to always cut my hair because I couldn't find a hair expert that would listen to what I actually wanted. I started seeing Amber a few months ago and had an amazing experience. She was professional but friendly in a very genuine manner. The stylists even work together to further elevate their work. During my appointments with Amber, I have also been very impressed with the other stylists and the overall atmosphere. It's a fun but laid back environment - all the cool stuff and none of the pretentiousness. I love this salon and will be going back again and again.

Beyond horrible service. I received the worst hair cut and color I have ever received. I was with a junior stylist and they cut my hair 4 inches shorter than I had requested, dyed it with a color that was way too light for my skin tone. I called the business after and was very, very upset and the manager simply kept repeating "come back in - the master stylist is here" after I was just there for 3 hours and received a TERRIBLE hairdo. The color is awful and the cut is like it was done with a razor blade and a bowl. I have random long pieces sticking out EVERYWHERE. After the 4th email I called the salon and said at this point I just want a refund. He offered again to "See the master stylist" at 1:00 PM on a Wednesday, as if I do not work. I even explained what was going on that I was barely even able to make the original appointment and the man told me "You are an adult. Figure it out - we do not offer refunds." What kind of service is that!?!?! In addition - he then followed up with "Well I have a lot going on in my life, too - but it's all about you right?" No sir, it is not about me. It is about the fact that I paid $220 for a cut and color and did not receive what I had asked for in any way, shape, or form. I do not have time to drop everything and come back in the salon. Give me my money back so I can go to people who know what the hell they are doing.
Requested style: I requested the last picture in the series of pictures that I posted. It looks nothing like it. Way too short, horrible color, WAY worse management.

This place is fire.? I had a really bad exp at a salon I won’t name that didn’t help a younger fresh stylist out and completely destroyed my hair. I have tiny broken strands at the top of my scalp from over bleaching and way to many over toning in a day… I hadn’t touched it since last Christmas cause that’s when it happened and have only been using temporary dyes to just hide all the damage and let my roots grow back. It’s been looking so fried and ugly lately..so I went in to just dye it super dark to hide it all, but Amber made my hair badass and healthy looking again.:) It’s a beautiful fun reddish pink that will fade to more of my fave pinks because my hair still can’t have full permanent yet. She knew that and knew what she was doing. Very caring with my hair and super educated. EVERYONE WAS they all kept jumping in sharing tools and tips to each other. That’s a Salon you wanna be at. She even apologized for my bad exp with that other salon.. they never did say anything and they knew they destroyed me. Probably killed that poor new stylist confidence too cause she just couldn’t get it right. Choose this place and they have wonderful atmosphere with the sweetest therapy pups that won’t bother you unless you want them to. Also very affordable. Owners are so sweet and make great coffee 10 outta 10

I just visited this place for the first time 2 weeks ago my hair styler was autumn she was sweet but I asked for a different color for the highlights and she has done a whole lot of blonde which doesn’t suit my face tone and I have now waited for a week and writing the review my hair got so thin and faced lot of hair fall it’s literally the horrible experience I have ever got if your skin tone is brown make sure for the color

I keep forgetting to rewrite my review. I would like to say that the owners were AMAZING and really made up for the bad experience I experienced last time. It truly made me rethink what I was and now feel like I can go back. Autumn was great and took the time to gain my trust back. I can't wait to go back. I had so much fun! Thank you David for caring and taking care of me!
