I have a laptop that's missing keyboard buttons. They don't sell the buttons here so I can replace my self . I do have insurance on my laptop. So I came to Greek squad to see about getting it repaired. The girl name is Cynthia, she comes off as rude. She gives a spiel about having reservations. I don't have one and keeps trying to get me to reschedule or come back another time, instead of just helping me. I tell her I'll wait. The lady in front of me is frustrated and she leaves. A person comes in behind me. She gives the same speech and then the person after them has a reservation, so she obviously sees them before us. The gentleman behind me leaves and I'm still waiting. and she keeps asking me if I would like to come in another time or another day and I'm just frustrated because I told her no three times already that I would wait. Mind you it's empty

Geek Squad happily delivered my children's replacement television to my \\\"husband\\\" at his new address. I called in the repair on 2/18/23, said \\\"husband\\\" called on 2/19/23 and changed the address. They delivered our replacement tv to him without a broken tv at the location. Best Buy and Geek Squad feel that they are better than our courts at deciding who paid for something. Now I have to dispose of a broken tv and go purchase a replacement. NOT FROM BEST BUY!!! I will review every store/geek squad and email all email addresses I can find until someone corrects this gross misconduct!

Ordering computer parts delivered has been a nightmare. The only reason I didn't buy them in person was because I thought thos would be convenient. My Shipt driver texted me to let me know that my order wasn't ready and may have been canceled. It still shows as ready to ship online. I can't cancel the order online and waited on hold for 15 minutes, but don't have the time. I'll have to cancel it in person when I get the opportunity I guess.

I ordered an oven and unfortunately there was an accident and it was damaged during shipping and door was bent which I understand accidents happen. I ordered a new one to only get it 2 weeks later so now I'm at a month with no oven. The second oven that arrived was carelessly handled by the same people that dropped it the first time... dropped it again hard on the lift gate and shattered the glass. They don't know I have cameras and seen the whole thing. What really made me mad was they didn't clean all the shattered glass and we had to bring a shop vac out to clean from careless drivers. Heres the kicker Best Buy told me one more month to get another stove. 2 months without a stove is unacceptable.I will no longer use Best Buy because of this.

They were definitely trying to get me to drop a lot more money than what I wanted to. All I needed was a cable adapter for a computer monitor. They tried to sell me a docking station. Saying I needed it and not the adapter. It's a good thing I have over 20 years of tech experience. I would not recommend anyone going there for anything computer related. If I could. I would not give any stars.

I felt that I was ripped off. So on 1/11/22, I took my MacBook Air (mid 2013 edition) to diagnose and repair the hard drive on it as it failed. The associate at the time (Jasmine) was a bit pushy and wanted to get me to get the 200 dollar protection and assured me that if I needed the hard drive replaced, Best Buy can do it. Come to find out, they are not even authorized to open Apple products even though Jasmine mentioned before to me that it would be possible to repair Apple products internally. They did refund me 100 of my 200 dollars in regard to the protection as it cost 100 dollars to run a diagnostic. I just feel that the associates try to push the protection plans onto people just so they get a commission on them.

The good, Nice of selection of products Have many items you might want or need in stock, Nice organized store and staff are able to answer questions you might have about the products they sell. The not so good, after the sale service is lacking. Otherwise a convenient place to shop

It's been a while since I've been in a Best Buy. Came here to get an internet router. I ended up buying the wrong one but thankfully they were able to refund me the money and I bought a better one. The store is smaller than normal stores but it's clean and has everything you'd expect from a best buy store.. Plenty of parking, tons of helpful employees. Lines move slowly. Everything is quite pricey.

Ordered a fridge/freezer for our basement. Decent price and in stock. Received call shortly before delivery to advise it would not be delivered. No explanation. I asked when they could and was told that they could deliver 2 days later (Wednesday). Received call on Wednesday wanting to discuss original missed delivery and to reschedule delivery (no record of plans to deliver) Wednesday). Called her back which was a challenge. Rescheduled. Unit showed up damaged. Delivery service caught the damage and pointed it out. Refused delivery. Best Buy called me right away to discuss and said that they would call me the next day to reschedule. They didn't so I called them back. Lots of run around and they were unable to confirm new delivery date. Told me that the back office would call me in 24-48 hours and if they didn't I should call them. Cancelled order instead although not positive that actually happened. Won't be buying anything from Best Buy that has to be delivered. Yikes!

Bought new dryer. Delivered today. Doesn't work. Can't reach store. Horrible customer store. Out $600. Should have listened to all the disappointed customers.

I just got home from my visit to Best Buy Joliet today. As someone who is is not knowledgeable about computers, Chris at the geek squad counter really went out of his way to explain things to me. He was so patient with me and helped me to get exactly what I needed. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate him taking his time with me as I usually feel awful for being so unskilled with technology. It was obvious how enthusiastic he is about his job and helping others. I have left other stores feeling confused and uncertain when it comes to tech devices. This young man is so wonderful and I cannot thank him enough!

I just bought over 5 GRAND in appliances. They get to my house to be installed just for the delivery people to tell us they cannot install them because we have the wrong piping, which is something THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO MENTION TO YOU AT PURCHASE! It was never mentioned to us about our water line, and the manager DID NOT CARE AND DID NOTHING! This experience for how much money I just spent is completely UNACCEPTABLE! The manager of this store needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY! I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. UNACCEPTABLE AND PATHETIC!
