Stock shown to be available is more times than not, not available for purchase. Outside of the fabric, the crafting selection minimal. If you need crafting supplies go across the street to Michaels.

I wasn't sure if I should say I loved it or I hated it. Bought way too much yarn today and spent a lot more than I was planning. ? And unlike my last visit, the employees were very friendly and helpful today. ?

Found both beading needles to repair a necklace I have and embroidery needles to finish an old forgotten project....

What a disaster. That's all I can really say. I think a tornado or tropical storm ripped through there. Photos say it all

Super rude employees. I was told by one person they honor the online orders and told today they don't. The way the manager talked to me was so rude! Went across the street to Michaels and not only do they stack coupons, but their store is so clean and employees are so nice.

In the day and age of dying brick and mortar stores… you’d expect a tiny bit of service when visiting one nowadays. However, what I have learned recently is that this is not the case (unless you are of the appropriate gender) at some stores. There are fabrics and goods and all sorts of things available online from Amazon to almost any website on the first couple pages of a Google search. I recommend for any man to stick to your Google search and avoid this place that should change their name or at least hang a sign at the entrance (to avoid confusion) which should read something like “THE SHE-WOMAN MAN HATERS CLUB”.Recently I visited my local Joann Fabrics store in Joliet to buy some suede for a car audio system project I was doing. Upon arrival I asked for direction to the aisle where I can find the fabric I was looking for. Unfortunately, I received instead a look of hatred and was told “somewhere back there”. At this point, I figured she may have just been having a bad hair day or doesn’t have any good friends named Richard in her life (assuming this was this person’s pronoun. I apologize if my assumption is incorrect). Either way, I proceeded on to walk up and down the aisles until I found what I needed. Or so I thought…At this point, there was a handful of different fabrics and materials that appeared like they could work for what I needed. However, in order to be sure I was purchasing the correct item… I figured the best idea was to consult with a professional Joann Fabrics fabric expert. A highly qualified professional that excels in all things fabric and beyond. Jeeze… was I wrong. This was the second moment I should have turned around and just stuck to Google and/or Amazon. Nonetheless… I was a fool. I believed this fabric laden, Amazonian paradise held at least a kind soul or two that could assist and educate a meager and unlearned textile apprentice such as myself. Again… I was mistaken.I approached several employees and asked for guidance, only to be given responses such as “I don’t know” or … “Not sure” or the best and most disheartening one of all was by a madam who appeared as if she was answering my call for help. Nay.As I saw her walking towards me and a glimmer of hope pierced the darkness that had been cast upon me during that 15 minute reflection of the dark ages… I smiled and asked about the suede, thinking she was walking towards me after noticing me getting ignored and eye rolled by her associates… but I should have known better. Turns out she was walking down the whole aisle to ask the lady behind me if she needed any help and instead gave me a dirty look.Moral of the story… Joann don’t want you here bros. ✌️

The Sales person was very helpful and kind. I purchased "T" pins. Did you know that you can use "T" pins to hang pictures up nothing to heavy thou. They are a little expensive thou. $7.99, but it's worth it. Joann's has a lot of great stuff.. I'm going back today to get the sewing machine case on wheels. It's on sale.
