Went in this location recently, I usually go to the one on midland but since I was in the area I came to this one. I needed to do a cash advance and the little elderly teller told me “we stopped doing that” I then informed her I just did one about a month ago and she said “oh yeah we stopped doing them a couple weeks ago” bless her little heart, she was really trying very hard to get out of doing her job. I knew she was a liar but I didn’t feel like calling her out so I left. I then went to midland and they did it no problem. I then called this location back and informed the manager what happened. He clearly did not care didn’t even ask me which teller it was or anything was just in a rush to get off the phone. Listen, if your employees don’t know how to do something, teach them. If they know but just don’t feel like doing it then hire someone that will. There’s plenty of people that would love to have her teller position and would’ve been much better candidates. She can stay home if she doesn’t feel like doing her job. And to the manager, next time, at least act like you care. Poorly ran establishment.

Last Saturday the teller at Joliet location post same transaction three times and widhrew extra 16k suppose to be 8k. Now uneducated people at corporate office dont know what happen. This is the worst bank to open account. I told many people close the account if you have at BMO. No wonder they closed many branches. Majority branch managers are uneducated. They dont know what they are doing. And i will also post in new paper and all social media.

I have been with Harris Bank since they opened, I am 35 and will be looking for a new bank! It's been 8 days since their ATM machine didn't give me money back after an error while depositing, I even have the receipt where it clearly says there was a error returning my bills. I need my money because I have bills to pay!

You cant talk to anyone in the United States . The call reps don’t speak good English and they panick and hang up on you . Very disappointed will not bank with this bank anymore

I cannot deposit or cash my 13 yr old daughters graduation check unless I open an account for her or she goes to get state id. I call to ask questions about this policy and was rudely treated and hung up on. Very unpleasant and unprofessional

I too would give them less than one star if I could. My bank accounts were formerly in Joliet Illinois. I live in Manzanillo Mexico half the year. money was being taken out of my local bank in Michigan. I called them immediately and explained. the problem. I also put a freeze on my account at BMO Harris as I was afraid the same thing might happen. As it turns out the only way that I could have my account was BMO Harris re-opened what to fly back from Mexico. it was very embarrassing to have to borrow money from my friends down here but thank goodness everyone was most gracious. I did learn that if you are persistent enough and I’m talking ours an hours worth of persistents I was finally able to have the freeze taken off my BMO account. I did this by taking everything I owned identification wise and sent it to them. My drivers license with a picture on it, my permanent residence card in Mexico with a picture on it my passport with a picture on it goes on and on. I think it would be very important for anybody reading this to make sure that if they travel abroad they talk to their bank about possible disruptions of service so that you can be ready if you need to be. This was six months of HE Double toothpicks.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I closed my accounts after months of mistakes. Finally closed it on 10-19-20 then got a overdraft notice dated 10-23-20. Spent 30 minutes on hold to get hung up on 3 times with there customer service number. Went into the branch on Midland in Joliet to find out what was going on. Only to be blamed for the overdraft and zelle transactions. By the way the Zelle was a deposit. After her corporate (which is how I believed she called). Told her the accounts were never closed. I was told before She could close the account I had to bring it to 0.Run from this bank they don’t know what they are doing with your money or theirs!

BMO is the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with! I’ve closed on numerous loans, Jessica Lewickas is the worst mortgage broker I’ve ever come in contact with. She sat on my application so long that it expired and had to pull my credit again. The whole process took 6 months!
