Best Buy online promisrd to stop a delivery because the address was incorrect. 7 hours later I received notice it was delivered to WRONG ADDRESS ANYWAY. It was stolen. I told Best Buy it would be stolen! And they did not even deliver to the correct address anyway! They agreed to ship another, but O needed the item and found it at a different store for 26.95 cheaper! So I called for a credit which they said was applied. I go to the original Joliet store to return the more expensive item and the manager tells me he can DO THiNG for me because online store charged me a shipping charge! I spent OVER AN HOUR in the store and online trying to confirm why that the difference in price was properly credited. Terrible customer service and NO COMPENSATION for my lost time and unnecessary essay frustration! This. Is. why. I. rarely shop at Best Buy snymore.

I worked with a young man named Jack. He was in the appliance department but was happy to help with other items needed.. I was looking for more than a few items and was very impressed he knew different departments and still he knew a lot about items I was looking for. Big high fives to Jack I'll be back soon to say thanks and for more knowledge drop.

This store allowed a credit card to be opened in my name followed immediately by purchases with that card. I do not live in the area so stopping by to speak with the store manager to get clarity is not an option. I tried calling their phone number and was redirected to their corporate line. A representative forwarded me to their voicemail and assured me that they would reach out to me that day. I have still not heard back.

Charged me for services they don't provide. When informed I was out of town for work I was assured a 24-48 hour turn around. 2 days later I was informed their technician had not even been there for the last 48 hours. 72 hours later I get my PC back, am charged for the repair. Still a blue screen!

I brought a TCL 50" TV November 2023 for a spare bedroom the tv was rarely used. I turned the tv on and the screen immediately went black. The next day I called TCL customer service and went through the trouble shooting process . After 45 minutes of getting nowhere the agent had the nerve to tell me my best bet was to get a new tv. I can't believe a new TV that was barely used has stopped working. The tv still has the plastic on it. After spending almost $300 on this tv what a total waste of money.. I have tv's in my home that are used every day for years and years and they work just great. And the people at Best buy was just as unless. Now I got a barely used tv and can't get any help replacing it. Best buy used to sell better products now the stuff they sell is crap. Once you buy something they don't want to help resolve the issue. Now I have a $300 worthless tv. I'm a very unhappy customer....

Staff was very helpful to point out laptops which were a good deal, current tech or tech being phased out. Very knowledgeable and able to help with minimum requirements for my home use.

I would not recommend purchasing products from Best Buy or getting an extended warranty. I recently purchased a piece of car audio equipment. 35 days after the date of purchase the equipment failed due to being defective. The store manager at the Joliet Illinois location informed me that since I bought the product new but as an open box special, the $35 dollar warranty i purchased only covers a refund and not an equivalent replacement. (Keep in mind the box was damaged in shipping but not used and was not an as is sale) After talking with the corporate office they stated the product can only be replaced with another new but open box equivalent but never a new non open box. I was informed that their warranties are not for the product's but to get a refund on what you bought so that you can repurchase it. If you purchase a product with a warranty around the holidays at a sale price and have an issue, you can not get a replacement only a refund and then pay full retail for the same product. I was simply asking for them to honor the warrany I purchased and to replace the product but instead given a partial refund and told to call their corporate office.

Bought two 43' tvs on black Friday sale. They were delivered on December 3rd. My daughter opened on Christmas, and my husband tried to install it on the 26th. Her tv was broken. My husband was at the store today, the 27th to return. He got a lot of attitude from the workers there. Like we damaged the TV.
I'm sorry, what happened to good customer service. He installed the wall mount and the television and had to take it down, drive to the store for the return. All of an inconvenience. But he was treated badly and given the 3rd degree about why the TV didn't work.
Do better best buy.

I swear, everytime i go in here, i notice more and more fraternizing between the girl and guy staff who seem to be more preoccupied with standing around chatting and flirting with one another than they are with attending to customers. Imagine standing there waiting to ask a question and getting treated like you're interrupting date night and talked to with distain. Then, them not having the answer and just pointing you in the direction i should go and look around in to see if they carry a product. Who the hell is managing this location??🤦
