“I had a kids pool party and after 4k in quotes more than a new heater 2x over between 2 combines being a mechanic I replaced the parts. Heater does not work. Desperate called Novonty and there friendly tech came out last minute and found the issue within about 15 min. I located the part and installed it 20 kids happy. That hayward tech deserves a raise! Probably would have solved issue without me spending 800$ in parts or my labor. Got a issue call them first. They don't rip you off!”

“Well, it's Ace Hardware... It's not like the Ace Hardware of years gone by. Like most retail establishments, the employees don't seem as knowledgeable as they did years ago. But, they do have a good enough selection to get you through any kind of household emergency that you might run into. It's a little pricier than, say a Menards or Home Depot; but, it is convenient. So, you might pay a little more; but, it costs you less in gas than to drive to Menards or Home Depot, so in the long run, it's not really any more expensive.

I was going to give them 5 stars; but, their employees are about as knowledgeable as the people working at Menards or Home Depot. That is, they know where to find something in the store; but, most of them don't know what half the stuff they sell is for, or how it's used. Just my observation.”

“We sincerly appreciate the honest service with our Stihl turf scrubber. While we wish there had been any communication during the less than timely process as the turf scrubber is a piece of equiptment that is essential to our business opertation, they did do their best to resolve the situation over all in a satisfactory manner so we still get a 5 star rating as far as we are concerned. Sadly, our scrubber was not repairable- due to our own staff mistakes, but JC Licht Ace sure gave it their best! The gentleman that helped us with the purchase of a new truf scrubber was very kind and helpful.”

“I recently needed to pick up an online order, and although there was a hiccup with locating my item, the experience turned out to be remarkably positive thanks to the cashier who assisted me. Upon arrival, when the item wasn’t immediately found, the cashier promptly had someone also check another location and was extremely courteous, apologizing for the wait.

Throughout the process, she was not only professional but also proactive—at the first sign the item could not be found, she started reassuringly explaining the next steps. The store manager stepped in to assist, but it was the cashier’s initiative and clear communication that really stood out.

Ultimately, I decided to wait for the item to be delivered, and the way this situation was handled by the cashier left me impressed. She made what could have been a frustrating experience very manageable. She is a credit to Ace Hardware and exemplifies the type of service that builds customer loyalty. Jeff and Sandra were amazing and turned our deck project nightmare into a dream come true. After a month of searching for the right product at a good price elsewhere, the deal fell apart due to availability. Well I went in a few weeks ago and walked up and down the aisles for over ten minutes seeking assistance and with no success. I did let them know at CS as I was leaving to go to Menards across the street. Well this past weekend I went back in to get more items and had such a hard time getting help AGAIN. I finally asked for a manager and I met Venus. Well this woman changed my whole outlook on personal customer care! After I explained what I needed and my previous experience she rolled up her sleeves and jumped right in to help me. She even helped me cut material for me!!!! It was Venus, Sam and Miguel who had me appreciating the customer service at this Fox Lake home depot! They over staff during the day to assist the contractors who come in, which are professionals and don't need the kind of assistance as the DIY people that come in after working hours and weekends. Home Depot maybe you can fix that. Please note the 5 star is for the amazing customer service I received from these three individuals !! I am yelling a thousand thank you' s to Venus, Sam and Miguel!!!”
