I had called to make an appointment for my husband to get his taxes done. He is a truck driver and only home on Friday and Saturdays. We made an appointment and waited for a week. My husband went in almost a half an hour early and they had taken two other people before him and did not have time. Both were going to take quite some time. Why even make an appointment? We could have tried somewhere else! They didn’t even apologize. Not professional at all!

I waited for an hour to be seen because their service website was down for scheduled appointment. Told to come back later and still had to wait while told my place would be held . Instead of calling their appointments and letting them know they make you come in to find out. After wasting 2 hours here only to find out I was denied for their loan which I get approved of almost every year . They also make you download an app ( my block) before you even have the appointment . This is an overpriced place to do your taxes and I will not be returning after 20 years of doing my taxes. No one seems to know what's going on or how to even log into their account to even get you started. H&R block you are really disappointing. From now on I think I will do turbo tax and keep those high fees down. Tired of also being charged to use their card and Tired of atm fees and how much money you can pull off or spend at a time. Last year for a simple tax return to be done with 2 w2s you all charged me over $500 !

You can go to an actual CPA for less and get more money back with an itemized return.
