We’ve been at Tutor Time for 4 years now. My son, who’s going into K, is very prepared. He already knows how to read (they have a “ready for K” program). They offer several enrichment programs; he even took Spanish lessons. The teachers are patient, kind, and understanding. My youngest, who is 2, has a more difficult time with transitioning to school but the teachers are patient and provide daily feedback. It’s tough being a teacher/provider, so I appreciate all their efforts. It’s also great that I can watch them using the app and receive messages and pictures throughout the day. I’ve always felt comfortable bringing any concerns to Julie, Trish, or the teachers.

Not all daycares are the same even under the company umbrella. I wish I had brought my son here sooner. The staff members are all amazing and there's no turnover, that says a lot about great management and good staffing. They build rapport with parents and provide detailed feedback about your child and share in the excitement of their development and milestones. I love hearing cute snippets and funny stories about my son being silly. They genuinely care for their wellbeing. COVID has not been an issue. They are very diligent and keep the location clean. It was already clean prior to covid. I can go on all day about how much I love this place and joy it brings my son. Highly, highly recommended. You won't regret it. Promise! Sincerely from your #1 helicopter mom.

My son loves it here! The center director is very caring & attentive to all our needs & concerns should they arise. They have a great curriculum that prepares these children for school age classes! Our toddler can already identify the alaphabet, count above 20, & is developing logic & important skills at a rapid rate! They offer a lot of extra curricular activities that our child loves to show him new experiences & teach discipline. He’s currently in karate & soccer through Tutor Time. They have a very healthy & nutritious meal plan that has encouraged our toddler to eat well! The teachers are very friendly & our child loves them all! I can’t say enough about how great this center is!!

We are thrilled with the staff and programs at Tutor Time in Itasca. We have two children enrolled there, a 3yr old and 4yr old, and they both love going to daycare. Furthermore, we have seen developmental improvements in our children that we didn't see when they attended a different daycare system last year. We highly recommend TutorTime in Itasca for every family.

My daughter loves going to Tutor Time, she has made so many friends . The staff is so nice, easy to work with, very clean day care. They feed your child, they drive your kid to school if needed .knowing that my daughter is safe everyday makes it that much easier.

Tutor Time has been our daycare provider since 2015/2016. Our Center Director(Julie) and Assistant Center Director (Jenny) are amazing - they provide insight and offer guidance on any challenges we encounter as parents. The teachers sincerely show their interest in their students and those that don’t, don’t last long enough for me to remember their name! I can truly say that all of the teachers are held to the highest standards. Every week my girls come back with something new they learned. We are also provided with daily updates and teachers are open to partnering together on potty training or any behavioral issues. Worth every penny!

Great teachers but poorly managed. It is really a shame, when money is clearly the only motivation behind a facility caring for children. My 2 kids went here for about 7 months, until I hit my breaking point and abruptly pulled them.Drop off here was always a disaster. My daughter at 3 years old was being dropped off with kids "school aged". Often, I would drop my 2 kids in a room with 1 teacher to 20 kids. I'm not exaggerating. I wish I had been thoughtful enough to take pictures. I would bring this up as a concern and be told my the assistant director, Jenny, "oh well sometimes we just don't know until someone tells us"? If that is true, how could that ever be acceptable? Do you really have no idea what's happening in your center? There are fancy cameras everywhere?!One of my most concerned drop off examples was with my 3 year old. Tutor Time only has one preschool classroom until about 8:00 when the 1 breaks into 2. I dropped my daughter off in her room. The single teacher (who is so caring, sweet and kind - truely engaged with my daughter), was changing a diaper and had a child on a changing table. Meanwhile, the room was full of something around 15 children all of which were spread throughout the room. However, it was not a safe or comfortable situation at all for me - 2 little girls were destroying and eating crayons, while another small group of kids were arguing over toys and began hitting. Since the teacher was tending to the diaper her only defense to breakup the tiff was hollering over the group to stop and break it up and she couldn't see the others with the crayons. To fill staffing guidelines the directors would push around kids in a 4 seat stroller-like thing. They use their cook to fill in but still they weren't hitting the minimum kid to caretaker ratios.Food here is disappointing. Lots of beans as the main dish. Lots of yucky casserole like dishes also. Needless to say my kid was always hungry here because lots of meals were not appetizing. The teachers here are great and caring; they really are. It seems they are doing the best with what they have. I sent my son here for pre-k. I was sold a story about learning plans and kindergarten readiness. He truly made little, to no progress. I finally realized how little school work they were doing after my teacher conference. The teacher showed the 2nd semester workbook and it was only about 1/3 of the way complete. She was good enough to date pages showing how little they used it. After looking through the book it was obvious months of use were missed. All in all, Tutor Time Itasca is really a disappointment. This place is also expensive. The understaffing; considering how much I was paying just blew my mind.Aside from the teachers some positives are the app that allows you to feel more engaged with your kids day. Although, there were many days were it wasn't used or updated at all. The center provides a class called Bobby Bear Fitness which both of my kids really enjoyed.

I enrolled my son at Tutor Time when he was around 3 months old and never felt more comfortable leaving him somewhere other than with family; in reality, I feel they have become family to us.The Director and Assistant Director both took time to explain the facility when we first visited, they showed how secure the school is, the meal program that they have in place, and how flexible they were with our schedule and needs. The staff (teachers) are wonderful and caring. That trust was established early on and continues to go while he grows up. They keep me posted on variety of things I should be aware of as he develops and keeps me posted if he has issue.I highly recommend Tutor Time in Itasca - this is a great daycare for anyone looking for a safe, friendly and caring environment for your child. They are a responsive group, always great to talk to and helpful to any full time working parent.
