“I have a Bluey loving 4 year old. There is an episode about chess so she became obsessed with learning. I have wanted to come to this store for a while, so the Bluey episode seemed to be perfect motivation to do so. When I walked in, I saw beautiful statement chess boards and fun and quirky boards and some simple elegant boards. We were able to find the perfect chess board for a 4 year old (yes it exists; magnets to hold it to the board and a foldable board game for storage). There is also a book for learning chess and a meetup once a week so she can practice (or I can so we can learn together!). I loved our visit here and recommend it for anyone looking for a chess board or to improve their game.”

“In a world where bookstores have all but disappeared due to the digital age and competition, it is nice to see Barnes and Noble is still thriving. This location is a nice entrance into Oakbrook Mall. This location has 2 stories with a Starbucks located on the second level.”
“Nice little story with a lot of vintage things to look at. At lot of Funko Pop and action figures. I was able to find something for my 2001 Space Odyssey collection. Recommended. Closed Monday.”
“I just purchased 2 sets of dice and an MTG single and I am honestly blown away. I just checked my email and saw that the emailed receipt included pictures of the exact dice I bought and the single. I'm sure you were able to download and adapt some sort of repository of mtg cards (which alone is going the extra mile) but for the dice I imagine that you had to photograph and log all of the different color variations!? The only Brick and mortar stores I can think of that email me a receipt with photos and hyperlinks is Best buy and Microcenter, which are billion dollar companies. If this is a huge company owned by some hedge fund please let me know, otherwise this has set the bar for all small brick and mortar stores in my book.”
“Had a great experience in the activity area. We were at loose ends at the end of the day and the play area was too loud and busy for them. We just went to check out the toy store and found the activity area and kept them busy and happy till the mall closed. They were so excited to see a live axolotl and watch the snake being fed. The owner helped my youngest figure out the marble run and oldest had great time with nerf launcher and Turning Toy. If you are looking for a good place to keep bored kids occupied that's not the screaming madhouse the mall player was is, I would highly recommend.”

“This place is a dream come true for some children and adults! There are dozens and dozens of different sets at this location. I saw sets I've never even heard of, like the "Friends" where the lego characters look more realistic, and there there was "Ninjago" which looks absolutely stunning with all the detail!Customer service was very good here too. They were very knowledgeable about all of the product sets and even told us they put them together as well, I didn't even know that was a thing. We were allowed to touch some of the display items behind the plexiglass, they have a special TV that when you hold us a set it shows you what it looks like, although this TV wasn't working while we visited.Since we visited during the holiday shopping season there was a line to get into the store, I am not sure if there's a line any other time, however, the line guiding retractable strips had lego characters so it was a bit fancier than a temporary setup.I was a bit surprised that they didn't have any deals for Christmas, since Legos are a bit expensive I would have thought they would have had some kind of special deal. Then again, since they have lines to get in they probably don't need to have a special draw for customers.We bought a couple of Minecraft sets on our visit and a small hollow Lego box. I didn't think the small box was good idea until I realized that we can keep the smallest of pieces in there for safe keeping. :-)”
“I love how they make military style legos vehicles, tanks, planes and mini figs. Very friendly and nice. Great service. Answered all my questions. The only bad part is the sets are expensive. I would go back again”
“Great little shop off the beaten path that is loaded to the ceiling with fun and memories. You'll have to make several passes through the store to take it all in- but that's half the fun. The owner Aaron is very knowledgeable and is always open to trades or combination deals. To top it off he also sells vinyl, too, and has a pretty respectable selection to flip through. I have been a customer for years and have always come away happy!”
“Come here not so frequently but always left with a good experience. Employees are very kind and helpful. Boss man is always kind and polite and fully of positive energy. I bring my items to trade to this location really frequently compared to other locations trade value they’re my best option. Only thing I can say is do inspect your figures whether you’re buying or trading. I’ve had a couple issues but they’re quick to fix the problem with the figure or make up for it if there’s no replacement pieces. Aside from that my favorite store. 10/10”
“I remember visiting this store a few years back and I got so caught up in all the Xena Warrior Princess figures. The guy who works there gave me one for cheap! He was super nice! Until this day, I've been wanting to open it and display her, but I don't want to ruin the box? ...I love Xena the Warrior Princess lol”

“Great place to get good deals on items you need for your model train layout. Locomotives, rolling stock, buildings, scenic materials, etc. Save a dollar and skip the line by buying your admission online. Parking is free. Get there early for best selections.”
“Customer service was much, much better here than other GameStops, so I'm willing to travel to this one that several that are closer to my home. Needed to make a return and it was seamless. The knowledge and willingness to work with us was amazing. Will be back for NCAA Football this summer.”

“I forget the name of the woman who cut my son's hair but she was an angel. My son is 2 years old and has sensory problems so getting a haircut really isn't his favorite thing. I was full of anxiety walking in not knowing what was going to happen but she was so calm and helpful. She let him hold a few cars, talked him through it, and explained all the sounds and vibrations. My son didn't scream or cry not once. Thank you so much!!”
“This is a good store to go to if you’re shopping for calendars. Make sure you go when they are heavily discounted. I went today and it was 75% off. We were able to get two calendars for $6.73. Besides calendars, they also have puzzles, board games, etc. I recommend checking them out. Just a FYI, they do open later than some of the other stores. On Sundays, they opened at noon. Service was good. It’s located close to the kiddie haircut place.”

“Came here to exchange a gift from a friend. I like that they have a lot of natural fiber clothes since at some other stores like target I can only find 2 items out of the entire store that are 100% natural fiber! Not sure what happened but my friend said they packed the wrong size of ruffle butt when they got the outfit. I went to exchange but they no longer had the size we needed. Still, the store associate was very helpful and helped us pick out another outfit that fit the same vibe.”
