Wow I thought I had a big issue with the Jewel on Summit in Elgin and I still do, however in looking at the ratings your local Jewel Stores have issues in the area as well. It looks like Albertsons needs to really do some work on establishing a much better food store and pricing for the customer. The highest rating I could find was 4.2, really? Understocked shelves, bad produce, ridiculous pricing, poor restrooms (toilet paper so thin you can see through it) are just some of the negatives. The reason I still go, its the meat. Much better then others, not as good as Costco but better. Your making good money on hard working patrons, how about doing a re-haul on your management. since it always starts at the top. The ladies in customer service on Summit are another reason I still go here, they are hard working, customer friendly, courteous.I'd give them a 5 star rating for sure. Streamwood Jewel is equally customer friendly, cleaner store better stock and better produce.
