We have been going to Dr Max for years now. He and his office gals take great care of our cats. They are nice, easy to get a hold off and schedule an urgent visit. Dr Max is honest knowledgeable vet, gets straight to the business. Reading reviews on him overcharging patients is complete lie, he never pushed any unnecessary treatments and explained what is necessary and not necessary for our pets. Actually his providing, meds and vaccines are more than affordable, including self pay discount, who cat beat that. My cats have been treated with passion and respect, absolutely would recommend Dr Max to everybody.

I want to give a big shout-out to Max and the team at Island Lake Veterinary. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They did a fantastic job with my puppy’s surgery, which took a few hours. I appreciated their thorough approach; they asked us to keep our puppy there until she woke up to ensure he was feeling alright.
The staff kept me updated throughout the process, which eased my worries. The facility was clean, and everyone was so caring and attentive. I felt confident that my puppy was in great hands. Highly recommend this place for anyone needing surgical care for their pets!

Any of you that know me and my dog Domino used to go to Wonder lake never go there again these people and Island lake went out of her way to get my dog shots so he didn't get put down they went above and beyond and their prices are unbelievable go there there an Island lake

The veterinary was so disrespectful and clearly does not care about the animals he sees. I have never cried in a vets office for lack of compassion before. He spoke to me like I was a three year old. His man bun and smell of cigarettes was disgusted. My cat now smells like smoke. Eww. Never again

I been going to this place for over 20 years since the main Dr retired it has gone downhill. The Vet there appears dishevel and under some influence last time I took my cat he didn’t even looked at him less than a second later recommended animax oitment you can buy it online for 7 us I was charge a ton my cat still sick solution bring him back for testing. So another visit more money. I don’t think so. Never again.

The best part of the service was the way Dr. Maks was able to keep my anxiety-ridden husband calm after our dog started throwing up a corn cob at home. His bedside manner is impeccable. He was able to address both the needs of the animal in distress and my dog simultaneously. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Omg, the ladies at the desk and the doctor are EXTREMELY NICE!!! I’m so sad we had to move away from the area. Very nice clinic. Reasonable prices too! :))

The staff is extremely helpful and caring for our pets ( 2 big dogs and 2 cats ) and humans .
Doc is very knowledgeable and kind with the animals, we have never had an issue . We've been going there for years now .

We went through seven circles of Hell with my dachshund Martin. Nobody helped (3 veterinary clinics) and only Dr. Max Ilyukhin relieved the dog of pain. Now, if necessary, we know who to contact, besides, the clinic staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are reasonable.

Doctor Max is the best veterinarian I've ever met! Knowledgeable and honest. He never pushes the unnecessary treatments.
I used to drive 2 hours in one direction to bring my dogs to his clinic. He saved my beloved dog, and I will be forever grateful!
