“Just found this gem a couple days ago and went in to pick up my online order. Donna is the best. This place made me feel like I was in Willy Wonkas Chocolate factory, the feeling, the smell, the atmosphere was just amazing. The only thing better is the flavor. Will for sure be shopping here for my go-to treats.”

“Gina is the absolute BEST! She made cakes for our twins for their 6th bday. They requested some elaborate pokemon cakes that they found online and I figured they would be nearly impossible to recreate. I reached out to Gina, she was super responsive and helpful. I sent her some pics and she literally recreated their dream cakes with no issue. They were reasonably priced and they were delicious! Wish I would’ve known about this place sooner. Highly highly recommend, thanks Gina!”
“My first time going to this location, after it being stationed at this address for years was back on April 15, 2023. The person serving candy on this day was lady by the name of Max. She was nice, hospitable and just a consummate professional. Because the second time I came to this location (ALMOST A WEEK LATER) the same person Max was there to service candy to the customers on this day. I usually visit the location downtown (NORTH MICHIGAN AVENUE) because it is bigger store with more of a variety but if I am ever in need for chocolate in the future this will probably be my go to location seeing is most locations are starting to close, again makes me filled with SADNESS!!”
“I grew up coming to this store as a kid. My mom would always let my sister and I spend $1.00 and man in the 90's that went a long way. And we also used to get our chocolate Santas, reindeer, and Christmas trees from here every Christmas too. (Santa knows what is good chocolate lol). And now that I am a mommy it's so amazing to be able to take my daughter to the same candy store I frequented as a child. Thank you for the amazing service especially with kids and for keeping memories alive.”
“Classic little storefront for getting lots of candy in Brookfield. Fill My Jar is where you can go to fill your bag to be exact. It has the bins of bulk candies along with bigger items. A few of these are hard to find. There's lots of the classics you may not see much anymore, and it's great for gifts. A lot of the store consists of the bulk candy. It's $6.50 per pound. This is mix and match, and there's the usual stuff like Lemonheads and Smarties. Instead of filling a jar, you actually fill a bag. You get these near the entrance. Elsewhere in the store is hand crafted candies. The case below the counter is filled with chocolates with fillings such as peanut butter and whatever. Also there's bags of other chocolates. The prices are pretty good for a small store. Good place for getting some classic candy. It also has hand crafted chocolates and more. They also have rarer candy bars and things.”
“I was there tonight, They have a wide variety of fresh nuts, chocolates, Noga. They even have olive oil from Jordan which I tasted and it was so fresh. And many more things. I recommend giving this place a try, Im sure you won’t be disappointed.”

“Terrific place. A throwback. I generally get chocolate covered Apricots. Pretty regularly. I travel from Burr Ridge every 10-14 days for these and generally a couple more things. Great people own and work there. Worth whatever distance you need to travel.”
“Big daddy’s is by far the best fudge I’ve ever tasted. My favorite is the chocolate jack. Melt in your mouth creaminess, with the warmth of the whiskey. I give it as gifts and that’s the one everyone wants. Delivers every time!!!”
“I love Fannie May! The chocolates are very well made and have a wonderful flavor. There are many choices to pick from and the employees are all very nice and very helpful. “Having moved out of the Chicago area, I really missed my Fannie May candy. Visiting the Homer Glen area I stopped in the store to buy over $100 worth of Fannie Mae to take home. They did have 30% off of certain items, and then 10% off the rest of the store. The clerk seemed as if they were new and not very knowledgeable, but was very friendly and helpful. It did take her some extra time to figure out the discounts and then she put a nice bow on my mom's candy. All in all we were happy to leave with Fannie May candy to take home since we are unable to find Pixies and any of the chocolates in Florida.”
“Great prices on everything from seasonings to candy. This place has awesome whole bean coffee and they have a grinder there if you don't. Also stocks real maple syrup and honey. The staff is incredibly friendly too. Can't say enough good things about this place.”
“What a wonderful place! I was searching the Chicagoland area for "custom piñata's" for my 6 year old son's "skyscraper" themed birthday party. I didn't think I'd find a custom John Hancock Center pinata, but lo and behold, the amazing folks at Pinatas & More came through and did an AMAZING job creating a custom piñata of a John Hancock Center replica. It was well made, reasonably priced, and was ready when they said it would be. What a great store/service!”

“I came in with my family on Halloween after seeing my in laws. I was pleasantly greared by Cathy who helped us with ice cream and a few other things. I found the store to be spotlessly clean, convenient, the staff was personable and sweet. I would go out of my way to come back here and and i live in Elmhurst were there is Numerous other candy shops/ ice parlors.This was a wonderful experience”

“You go to the grocery store and you might have a good experience, you go to sees candies and not only is the product a G.O.A.T. ,the customer experience is just outstanding as you are treated like they do you at Starbucks, high standards are the only thing that matters there. Been eating their chocolate since 01' and so glad that I did. This can bring you a smile if your down, makes an excellent snack if your hungry, and makes the perfect gift. Sometimes life's guilty pleasures are meant to be avoided. Not this, rinse & repeat and enjoy their products and price is great. They don't ever cheapen their candy, that's prohibited per Warren Buffett!!! Try it it's a must if you haven't, challenge yourself to taste the Best chocolate in the world.”
“Best. Chocolate. Ever.Although we get the Dixie's and Chocolate Covered Citrus Peel...our favorites. They have a variety of prepackaged chocolate, built on themes: Colonial, Fruit and Nut, Cremes. You can also create your own box. Or you can order by the piece.They are the best. Great as gifts, too. Helpful staff.”
“I stopped in Fannie May on 75th in Woodridge today to see what was available for Thanksgiving. The girl behind the counter, Savannah, had great customer service. She was incredibly nice, & friendly, & helpful, & I ended up making a purchase. The holiday selection was great too.I was glad that I stopped there.”
“Sahagian Candy is a confections manufacturer and not a retail store. They manufacture bubblegum, licorice, taffy, caramel corn, sweets, sours and gummies. The major brands are the Yard of Bubblegum and Licorice. They do private label brands and specialty runs for occasions and events! They don't sell direct to consumer, but they do sell to everyone from party planners, gift basket and floral companies, grocery stores to big box stores and major department store chains! If you want to make something really special with candy... it's worth a call to see if they can do it for you!”

“Brand new candy store just opened up. Mainly Hispanic candy. I tried a free sample by the lady out in front so I visited the store and checked out all the candy they had. I love all the variety they have though most of it is stuff that I find familiar. It's finally great we have a candy store for the first time in a while at the mall.”

“A one stop shop ????, you can have it all if you have a sweet tooth they have a large variety of candy, & they have the best snowballs in town from the size of the cups to the many flavors SOME I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF lbs. And if your hungry and want a quick meal Sugar Dealers will get you right faster than any restaurant will. Also last but not least the owners mom is a lovely friendly woman that brings wonderful energy as soon as you hit the door WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK”
“It's a great place, but really expensive. Me and my friends are downtown at least once a week to get candy or ice cream or lunch. The service in this place is great, they make the line shorter by working faster and they are never really out of stock for anything. It gives off great vibes and it's a beautifully decorated place. It's just that you could get 4 lollipops for $1 at the hardware store and it cost more here. Other than that, it's a wonderful place.”

“By far my favorite candy shop in the area— anywhere really!. Always so nice & helpful. The chocolate is so delicious! Their choc covered strawberries & bananas (usually special order at the Indian Head Park store) are amazing! Can’t say enough nice things about Old Fashioned candies! Their Berwyn store has more offerings but if you want something they’ll bring it over, if you ask.”
