I was met at the door by Matt, and he welcomed me like family. The dealership is very busy, but he continued to check back with me and ensured that I had everything I needed. Their staff is top shelf, and I had low expectations, but these guys worked really hard to get a great deal done and I am super satisfied With not only Matt but the entire staff.

The good:- when I called, they made sure they had the car in stock, and they answered all of my questions quickly and honestly.- once I was in the finance office, everything was smooth, quick and painless.- when I was done, they detailed the car, they charged it up and had me back in a couple of days to pick it up.- the car itself is great. The bad:- the car I bought was listed at a little under $8,000. I test drove it, and the number they started at was a little over $14,000, trying to charge me for an appearance package, window etching and all sorts of assorted fees, and they said that they refused to use my pre-approval from my preferred lender. We eventually negotiated back down to the cost they originally quoted, plus tax, title, license, etc, and they used my preferred lender (at 4 points lower than they were originally offering, too). I left happy, for sure. But, I should not have to fight to get a fair deal.

Warning!please read this review before you go. Don't even try on calling them!! This is the worst dealership in the US!!! I wish I could give them zero stars. This is exactly the type of dealership that is dedicated to robbing people with false advertising and prices. They started by asking you how much you want to pay a month. Seriously? They don't decide how much you pay a month! For first-time buyers, the price you pay a month is easy to calculate. [ price of the vehicle + interest + taxes ÷ the months you decide to pay] That's it! Simple math . This dealership didn't think I knew this. They add hidden fees, and of course, they add an extended guarantee too. when I told them I didn't want it. They literally kicked me out and told me that they couldn't do business with me. They made go 2 times because supposedly they had a better deal, but I was the same bu$#^#&.

Customer service is absolutely deplorable. Have called 5 times over past 2 weeks to know whether or not a power running board was functional before I drove 4 hours ONE WAY to look at a vehicle. Got run around continually (5 different people on 5 different calls) and was told I would have to make an appointment to come look at it as they could not answer my question. Every salesperson I spoke with pushed for me to make an appointment after they knew I was out of state. Would have been guaranteed sale as they had exactly what I was looking for, however if no one can simply walk on the lot and ensure running board was functional I will never be using this dealership.

As an experienced automobile buyer/reviewer, it's my duty to share the horrible experiences w this dealer to prevent future buyers from going through what I went through. Regrettably, my encounter with Huntley Ford was far from the professionalism and integrity one would expect from a reputable car dealership. I write this review with a heavy heart and a sense of duty:1. Disguised Costs and Unjustifiable Fees:The bait was a used Benz, advertised at a seemingly reasonable $24.9k. The switch came when the term sheet inflated to a bewildering $35k, laden with an array of unwarranted add-ons. The most egregious of these was the "prep and delivery" fee. The vehicle was parked on the premises, yet they expected me to pay as if it were being chauffeured from afar with additional "prep". When questioned, the dealership offered no plausible explanation, treating my incredulity with disdain. All they mentioned was that they selling X amount of so many cars per month.2. Mandatory Inspection Mirage:The second alarming attempt to inflate their pockets came in the form of a ~$950 "inspection" fee. The revelation that the car was not pre-inspected - a fundamental dealer responsibility - was appalling. To suggest a customer should pay nearly a grand for an inspection that hadn't occurred was not only dishonest but also suggested a lack of basic quality assurance protocols. Again, Huntley Ford's excuse was "they get and sell so many cars every week", which sounds just like a dodgy sales tactic.3. Credit Card Hostage Situation:The final straw in this trifecta of deceit was the mishandling of my credit card. After they took my credit card "for confirmation", it was not returned. When I call them to mail my card back to me, my inquiry were met not with assistance or straightforward answers but with pressure tactics to lure me back into their dealership! An establishment that resorts to such tactics can only be described as unscrupulous at best.STAY AWAY FROM Huntley Ford. My encounters at Huntley Ford were a masterclass in unethical salesmanship. They seemed to operate under the assumption that customers walk through their doors with a flashing sign that reads "gullible." I left feeling that my business, time, and intelligence were of no value to Huntley Ford.In stark contrast, I am working with Mercedes Benz of St. Charles and a few other dealerships. They are transparent, professional, has integrity and restores my faith in the car-buying process from dealers. Huntley Ford, SHAME ON YOU.

What a mess. We called in looking for a specific car (listed as "new") and were told it was in stock, so we then immediately drove an hour to the dealership only to later find out (after a long delay) that the car was surprisingly out on loan to a customer. We proceeded to discuss buying this car. We were told they could not honor the price listed online unless you do not finance, and then when we asked if paying cash would get that price were told that you cannot buy a car cash, you need to finance. Sooo basically they were telling us you cannot get the price they had listed on their website. (I know see others have had similar problems at this same dealership based on reviews I see here.) After long delays back and forth, they finally agreed to honor the price advertised on their website for this car. Ford was also advertising 0% financing for 5 years at the time and when we asked for this, they seemed to know nothing about this incentive. (This is Ford incentive and this is a Ford dealership! What??) We then looked it up on the Ford website, showed it to them and after jumping through hoops they finally agreed to honor it. I then started to feel uncomfortable that the car was out on loan and we could not see the actual car until after they wanted us to actually purchase the car, at which time they said they would retrieve from the person loaning it. I then asked to clarify the exact mileage on the car (we assumed it would very minimal). After another long delay, they nonchalantly told us the car had 4500 miles on it. This car was listed as NEW, and 4500 miles is almost three trips between Chicago and Los Angeles. We were told that anything under 5000 miles is considered new... I then probed deeper into how this "new" car could have 4500 miles on it, and it was finally revealed that this was the dealerships LOANER CAR. This was about 3 1/2 hours into our visit and negotiations over this car. We then said we wanted to negotiate the price considering the news that this was a loaner with 4500 miles on it and were told that that was why there was the "discount" on the website for this car. Which is bizarre, because we had to haggle to actually get them to honor that discount in the first place!! So if we had not been wiser, we would have paid MSRP without 0% financing for a car that was the dealership's loaner car with 4500 miles on it. !! And no one seemed to be apologetic about any of this. We were told it was a "miscommunication". I feel it was deceitful and dishonest. We drove over an hour to get there, spent over 4 hours at this dealership, and walked out frustrated and without having purchased a car. We went in ready to buy a car and they let us walk out.We drove to another Ford dealership that same day, and walked out with a similar (better and cheaper) car in about 70 minutes.Someone from the Huntley dealership called me the next day to ask how our visit went, and I was completely thorough and honest (the wound was still fresh). The reply was that she would relay this to the management and I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK.I would never recommend anyone purchasing from this dealership. These people give car dealers the bad name. I see there are plenty of other bad reviews for this dealership here, and in the future I will do my research better before offering my business somewhere.

Went in to buy a lightly used 2022 Tesla Model Y. Great car and wanted to buy. I don't finance thru dealers and never have. Was burnt once by not being able to pay off the loan early. So my financing was already approved and ready to go. When I tell the salesman I would like to buy the vehicle and tell him that i already have financing, He tells me that the price on Autotrader is only available to people who use the dealer financing. I think this is illegal folks.

Super grateful to have worked with Joe B., he was super patient with me as I would message him on a weekly-monthly basis over the past year as I waited on my Maverick custom order. I love my new truck, worth the wait! Also grateful to the finance guy Derek who was straight forward and finalized everything quickly so we could get our toddler to bed.Thank you Huntley Ford, happy to be a part of the Ford family now

After multiple visits and numerous test drives ranging between a Ford GT 500 and a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 53, I locked and loaded the trade-in of my Ford Bronco for the Mercedes Benz (which goes to show you the depth of their inventory as well - amazing selection)! My salesman, Larry, had the patience of a saint and nerves of steel to sit in the passenger seat throughout these test drives, although ultimately sold me on the fact of buying a vehicle from the Bear Auto Group at the Ford of Huntley location. Aside from an excellent buying experience working with Larry, he also has dealt with some sensitive mechanical issues, even on his days off, and on his own personal time to make sure that I was completely satisfied from start to finish and beyond…So far; so good and much appreciated! I was skeptical at first and now can say that the entire experience headed up by Larry and supported through his upper management, Vlad, has been very professional.

Searching for a new truck, my husband and I wanted to make sure we were getting a good deal in this economy. Buying a new vehicle is never really easy. Joe B at Huntley Ford was great. Down to earth, reliable, honest guy. He made the process a lot easier. He was awesome. Thank you Joe!

Thank you for allowing me to waste over 2 hrs of my time to see a vehicle that wasn't even there. Why did I make an appointment and ensure it was there before driving over 30 miles one way ? It's a shame this is "customer service " . Sales guy says I can call you in a few days when it comes back , zero percent chance of spending a damn nickel here .

I bought a 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid from these guys. Tom was friendly and straightforward with me, and he did his best to accommodate negotiations about prices. They have a lot of upsell warranties, and they will push you on them, but were still polite even when I declined all of them. They have a big selection of cars too! I recommend them, but make sure you set aside a day for car buying, the process can be long!
