I absolutely, positively, highly recommend Rick's Mower and small engine service! Honest, and he knows his stuff. I took him my Dixon zero turn that ended up stumping me. Rick was able to wiggle his way through it in a couple days At a very reasonable price. Thanks Rick it was a pleasure doing business with you! I wish every business operated like you! Rick’s is the go-to place in McHenry county for all of your lawnmower, snowblower and small engine repairs, tune ups or general servicing.I’ve sent my business to Rick multiple times and he never disappoints with his level of service, knowledge or customer service.Anecdotally, I needed a replacement part for a 30+ year snowblower the day before a winter storm. Instead of waiting for the delivery man, Rick had this part on-hand and even installed for me as a courtesy so I could be as best situated for whatever Mother Nature brought my way.Thank you Rick for making this novice repairman’s life that much easier!

Would highly recommend to others. I called them two days ago about two riding lawn mowers that were completely useless to us and would not run or stay running for long. Not only do they come out to you but, Gunner set up the soonest time to come diagnose the issues as well. He not only is very knowledgeable about his trade but he was very thorough when diagnosing what was wrong. He looked at two riding mowers and a motorcycle for us. He gave us realistic pricing to fix all the items and also valuable advice on which items were worth fixing or not, if that meant he wouldn't have the business. He fixed my mower that day without hassle and was easy to work with. If you’re having issues and don’t know where to turn give them a call they will absolutely get the job done or steer you in the right direction.

Rick is amazing, he fixed our John Deer Z445 zero turn within 2 1/2 hours of dropping it off. John Deer was 3 weeks out. Next time I’m bringing in our snow blower. From now on this is the only place I’m bringing my machinery and to top it off, he’s really a nice guy.

Our Cub Cadet rider broke down. Local repair shops were booked out three weeks. Rick was able to fit me in; in and out in less than a week. Runs as good as new! Highly recommended.
