The entire staff at Huntley Vet Hospital is amazing! I moved several years ago but was visiting my mom when my pup had a serious issue requiring care. They made time to see him and provided him with superior care. Not only are they all compassionate, they took the time to explain the test results and what those results mean for Max's future care. They provided exceptional care when they were our vets in 2019 and that exceptional care continues. I highly recommend this practice!

I have taken my dog Rocky here for 15 years. I could tell you many stories of what we went through but the most important piece is Dr Joe, Dr Jane, and their staff have been awesome through everything we have been through. They are caring, compassionate, and so understanding. That's through Rocky getting hit by a car at 6 months old until now. Special thank you to Dr Spencer who sat on the floor petting Rocky while talking to me about making the decision of what's best for Rocky with the issues he has at his age. Have been going here since Dr. Jane and Joe bought the clinic. We have had 5 dogs that have since passed but were given excellent care here. We currently have 2 dogs that go to the clinic. We have always been given excellent care by the doctors, techs and front dest staff. Would recommend this clinic to everyone. Nancy P.

Charged me for a FULL EXAM but spent ONLY 30 SECONDS looking at my dogs teeth! Unlike any other vet I have spoken to this month they wanted me to bring my little Maltese dog in to look at her teeth before giving me a price on a dental cleaning. In retrospect this should have been a red flag for me. Nobody else asked me to come in. Ever. Since no other vet I have ever dealt with, in 40 years of having dogs, charges for this, or requires this, I assumed it might be free! Maybe a $25 charge that would be applied towards her dental procedure. OR I thought they might want to take a blood test to make sure she was safe to be put under anesthesia. But no. None of this! They charged me $66.00, their regular price for an exam, but performed NO EXAM. No stethoscope, no temperature check, no physical exam. I mentioned her hip joints that slip out of socket but nobody touched them. They ONLY looked at my dogs teeth - for less than 30 seconds and told me that they are as expected and have "an average amount of tartar". Nothing unusual. She is only four years old, why would there be anything unusual? They could have just asked me that on the phone! What a SCAM! I hope that $66 makes you happy since you will never see my $400 for a dental cleaning as I will never step foot in this place again. AND will be telling everyone I know that this place is a... RIP OFF!

While our journey didn’t end the way we wanted, with the help of Dr. Hillary and Dr. Andrea we were able to know we did everything we could to save our big guy. Without them, our grief would be doubled and our financial burden lasting. They went above and beyond to help us make the impossible decision of saying goodbye to our fur baby. Beyond grateful for the peace we were finally able to reach.

The care and compassion every visit we had even up to the last of our dog Konas life was amazing. After 11 years of care I can’t say enough about how amazing all the doctors and staff are. When it came time for Kona to reach the point of going to rainbow bridge I have to say I was petrified of how it would play out this being the first dog I’ve had to put down. (Cancer)

Just had 2 of my dogs there for follow up appts that cost me $170. Just asked if they could do a nail trim while they were in there. The tech said no problem. Got both of my dogs back with no nail trim. Trying to switch vets and unfortunately I already don't trust this one. Now more than ever we need to see proof since we can't be with our animals during their visits. If anyone has other suggestions please let me know.

It was our first visit with my new puppy. Staff was very friendly and professional. Dr Ashley answered all of my questions over the phone since the COVID I couldn’t go inside with my puppy. Max can’t wait for his next visit next month.

I have been taking my two small dogs here for 4 years. Sorry to say this practice always makes me feel rushed and seems like I can never get my questions answered. Whenever I call with an urgent problem (like running out of meds for my older dog or ear pain in my younger). I feel like I am putting them out and they seem to have no compassion for me or my dog. Most recent example was when I had concerns over my 13 year old dog losing weight, and then a month later still thin but his stomach was so bloated. The vet couldn't see it but asked if I wanted an x-ray. They took one and found a mass! He woke us the very next night in horrible pain and died at the emergency vet. I asked to be able to speak with the vet but they never even called back. I'm definitely finding a practice that cares.

Avoid this animal hospital at all costs. They billed me $1000.40 for my dog's teeth cleaning and extractions. In addition, they didn't provide any written estimate for anything. My previous vet charged $340 for a teeth cleaning and 10 extractions. They charged $1000.40 for a teeth cleaning and 14 extractions.

Our first visit and obviously a little different due to covid; however, I want to say how nice all of the staff are and how thorough they are with answering all of your questions and concerns. We couldn’t be happier with the vet we have chosen and we hope Cooper brought lots of smiles to all of you this morning.
