I've banked with several institutions for both my commerical and personal needs, and American Community has far exceeded any level of service I've previously received. Their staff creates personal relationships while still offering competitive rates and all the technology you want with your bank.

Wanted to rent a safe deposit box at the bank as my current bank did not have any availability. Called American Community Bank and they would not rent to me because I do no other business with them. Rude customer service and seems short sided to refuse business especially now with more banks not having a brick and mortar presence.

I have been looking for $2 bills for my niece for an Easter present. Many banks do not keep them on hand which makes my task difficult. I called this bank and they refused to service me because I do not bank with them. As a disabled veteran, I bank with USAA and there are no brick and mortar locations near. I am extremely disappointed and will never be enticed to bank with an Organization that treats the public this way. Employees should treat callers as possible future customers instead of shunning them for not being a current customer. If this is how I am treated, I can’t imagine how others are “provided service”.

If you don't have an account here, but want to cash a check from someone who does, enjoy the six dollar fee they charge, oh, .... and the attitude they have about it. Really? Six bucks to cash their own checks? Look elsewhere to do your banking folks.

Horrible Service and un-willing to do anything more than the bare minimum required to resolve an issue; don't put your trust or money into this place!Per the Bankers comments, their communication process is so poor, they don't even send text messages or emails, they rely on "one phone call" (that I didn't even receive) before they close out your account which does not sound like a good "Standard Procedure" to me...
