This afternoon my friend an I went to check out a the Boutique. As we entered, we could hear the woman having a conversation about one of them that just had a colonoscopy and how the lady didn’t look like she was fifty. We looked at a few items and walked around a little bit until I saw a dress behind the counter that caught my eye. The women continued to talk. I told my friend, “ As much as I like that dress, I was ready to leave.” “They’ve never acknowledged our presence and it appears that we wouldn’t be missed as we headed for the door. The conversation obviously was more important than greeting her customers and asking us if we needed any help. I don’t want to make it a black and white issue. But it very well could appear that way. I won’t buy anything at a place where I don’t feel welcome.

Went to boutique today with a friend. We were not greeted or acknowledged during our time in there (about 7 minutes). I recognized 1 of 3 ladies there from prior visits as an employee. They openly and loudly discussed colonoscopies. Eye contact was made but no one said a word.
Very surprised by the coldness and bad vibes - not a good experience at all. We were interested in purchasing a couple of items but decided to take our business elsewhere.

Out of all the boutiques I browsed in downtown Homewood yesterday, this was by far the best one! There were so many lovely, beautiful, and unique pieces here. I got a shirt, a dress, chocolate, and some soap from Australia that smells luxurious. I’m so happy.

A beautiful location. A medium sized storefront that might look small but inside there are MANY treasures!From wedding gifts, keepsakes, candles and art this place is a great stop for your artisan needs. Felt very welcomed.
