Very unprofessional!! They do not care about their customers at all! They always give me the run around. This office and it's staff needs to retrain on how to handle customers and their questions.

I have been a client of Tom's since 1986. I had changed from Allstate, due to their practices, and rising costs. State Farm had been a much better rates and have had pretty decent service from this agent. However, in recent years, my rates have been going up every 6 months, even though I have not had any tickets or accidents, the only claims being 2 windshields being replaced on my truck. State Farm's rates are getting a bit high, being that my vehicle is 18 years old, with over 300K miles on it. Now I have no issues with the staff, they don't make the rates up, but State Farm needs to bring their rates more in line with what they are insuring. $525.00 every 6 months on this age of a vehicle is just absurd. Only time you hear from Tom, is when he is looking to get more money out of you! When my policy comes due for renewal in June, I will go elsewhere, that is for sure!

Office staff seems incompetent. After requesting a transfer Sherry got upset and hung up the phone. I spoke with Sherry @ 11:30 on 1/20/23. I will never recommend this office to anyone.

I have been dealing with this company since 2006.I have found better rates so I call a few days before the expiration date and that I won't renew for the upcoming season.Today I received checks from the state farm, returned premium. They canceled that day when I called, I didn't have any insurance coverage for 4 days.I think that was very mean and unprofessional.

I'm glad some are having a good experience with this location ?My experience has been a nightmare...I recently tried to do an address change and was advised by the representative, I couldn't because my payment was late....How dare you discriminate because I'm late!!!!! That phone call took place over 2 weeks ago, the same agent promised to call me back the same day with a new quote, I haven't heard from her yet!?!?!I had to speak with the manager in order to be taken care of (Kate the manager) apologized, said my issues/concerns would be taken care of by an agent in the office that was dependable etc. My conversation with Kate took place yesterday, 8/22, she advised that the agent whose first name begins with a D, would follow-up with me today, 8/23 for sure, in the absence of herself (Kate). No call from the office at all, I reached out to the office around 4:30p today spoke with someone that saw the notes on my account, the agent I was speaking with confirmed that the agent who was supposed to call me was in the office and she didn't understand why I didn't receive a call. S, the agent I spoke with claims she would let the manager know I never received a callback.The agent I spoke with then advised me my account was inactive, I thought inactive means canceled, that's not and wasn't the case, then she said there's a returned check on my account. I asked her from when, she stated she's not sure and rather I speak with the manager about it, while still on the phone with the young lady, I accessed my bank account online, went all the way back to January of this year and all checks were paid, now all of a sudden she did the address change after I challenged what she was stating which wasn't true, initially she didn't want to do the updates at all.What a sad shame, the unprofessionalism, conflicting & inaccurate information provided each time you speak someone. According to the manager, the agent could have made the address change when I initially spoke with her.Apparently there are no consequences behind being unprofessional, not returning calls and giving false/bad information.

I was in an awful car accident on May 15, 2022. The day of the accident I called their number from the er to report it and rec'd a claim number. The same day I sent an email to Tom Luscombe along with a short account and included 3 pictures of my car. I knew I did not have collision on my car thinking it depreciated being a 2009 but did have 300,000 on bodily injury. When I called first thing Monday morning I was told they were busy on the phone with other people and don't know what I said but a lady, maybe Sheila, got on and she said something and I also did but then I believe Denise got on the phone. The first thing she said to me was " you don't have full coverage", then she said it will take you 3 days to get the police report ( and it is very expensive, I was picking in up at Lansing Police at 11am which I ended up doing and it was no charge, and that this is the worst thing she said to me and I will swear to it, that she was closing my claim in 24 hours. I was so upset. I then started to search for a lawyer because this rotten State Farm Office was something I could not deal with. I will complain to bbb and any other place . How can someone tell you they are closing a case they don't have facts about and I coverage in 24 hours???????????????????? I would rate this as a minus number.
