I hate to give back reviews I like this store and the store manager Craig is very good and very customer service oriented. But the customer service manager “Laura “is terrible here. She’s a middle aged heavy set women. Avoid her at all costs she shouldn’t be working as a manager or in customer service. She lied and flat out said the money order machine was broken. She said the morning people will fix it tomorrow and it should be working. I even asked another manager on shift a gentlemen and he asked her and she lied to him about it not working. So he basically backed up her claim. I called back today in regards to this so I can come back and the front desk clerk said it’s working and it wasn’t even broken last night. I drove out of my way to get a money order in a rain storm. I get them weekly at Jewl and never had an issue until last night. This was discusting of this women to service a customer this way. It makes me to rethink going to this location to continue to shop here. If she didn’t know how to work the machine just tell me or ask someone else. She has a poor lazy discusting attitude and she should be demoted from this position. This rubbed me the wrong way and to lie to a customer because you didn’t want to do something or know how to operate something then she shouldn’t be running the front desk. Be aware she refuses service to people she doesn’t want to serve!

tonight while at the store and being in the self check out lanes , what I heard come out of the managers mouth and how he talked to one of the employees was absolutely absurd . so sad

Kudos to the Deli Department for squeezing my order in today. I put a order in at the Jewel in Lemont a couple days ago and they were not able to do it because of being short staffed. Being flustard I put the order in for a party tray for Homer and put the order in for Sunday and not Saturday. You can not change your order online. First thing I called the deli this morning and they were able tp squeezs my order in today and had it ready earlier than anticipated!!! Thank you so much to the staff who prepared my tray. Everyone is always so nice and curteous!!

I will never step foot into a jewel store again and will be happy to share my thoughts on this event. The pharmacist at the Homer Glen location believes he is God and has decided to deny my Dr.'s prescription that he wrote for me. Who has the license to practice medicine, my Physician or the pill counter? So I had my Ivermectin prescription gladly filled at the Orland Mariano's by a pharmacist who felt the need to say to me how effective Ivermectin has been for patients as they come in several days later singing its praises. In my case, I had 4 straight days of 102 fever and hours after taking the first Ivermectin dose my fevers never returned and I began my recovery. Every day was a little better after that point. Keep it up Jewel Osco and I'm sure the lawsuits will follow....just keep getting in the way of common sense....Worst part is i love the store manager there....always happy always asking people how they are...but your pharmacist crossed the line with my freedom and my Dr.'s successful treatment of Covid-19.

Honestly I think this is the best run Jewel Foods in the chain. The store is always clean and well stocked, good meat department. I also like that Jewel sponsors LOCAL Charities

My son and I were just at the Homer Glen Jewel. We received terrible service from "Hope". The lines were rather long. So, Hope goes over to a new register and calls over the next person, which was the man in front of us. We follow him, she rings him up and just leaves! She actually just left us there! We had unloaded our groceries. We waited around thinking for sure she was coming back. Nope! She did not come back! I couldn't believe that she did that! Hopefully, Jewel does not train their employees to be as rude as "Hope" is.

I'm so tired of shopping at this store on a Friday morning. EVERYTHING that is on sale is already gone!!!! When do u replenish!?!? It's ridiculous.

have to drop this one down about a star unfortunately they're not doing their job on checking the stock and rotating. there was a couple of times I've come in and had seen some expired Pillsbury Grand biscuits when I've gone to get them for breakfast flaky layers but that got taken care of..however today unfortunately very lacks and checking the McCormick spices and all the spice packets quite a bit of expired stuff from Lowry's to others especially McCormick spaghetti that shows people have not been doing their job on the aisles at their assigned and checking the stock so while it's still nice and close and the main stuff is still good you just want to think twice and possibly look around and check your dates that's all I'm saying

Went in last night around 7:00 PM for a few deli items. No less than six employees were behind the counter. However, only one was waiting on customers! After a 15 minute wait, I'm waited on and head over to the checkout lanes. There was one lane open with approximately 25 customers in line! What's happening at this place???
