Michelle’s experience mirrored my own. Years ago I boarded there and likewise she wanted my horse out before the months rent I’d already paid was up. Her arrogant attitude is not something I missed.

My experience there was brief for the owner didn't like my horse and demanded that we relocate by the end of the month. I paid for extra services that weren't provided. My horse was taken off of grain and withdrawn from turnout on the owner's behalf without my consent. I paid extra for those services, yet she had the nerve to ask me for more money.

I have owned my horse for 17 years and we have been in a few different barns in the area. This is by far the best barn I have ever boarded my horse. The owner manages the barn exceptionally well and is extremely knowledgeable about horses and horse care and always willing to provide advice and support. Horses are the priority and are cared for better than any other barn I have boarded or visited. Boarders are great also and very friendly. Boarders and/or staff are always around so horses are never left unattended. The property is maintained beautifully and there are plenty of places to ride so you are never in an overcrowded arena. Stalls have their own private paddocks so horses can go outside if they choose. I know my horse loves that. If you are looking for a barn that truly cares about riders and their horses, this is it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

During the last 20 years, me and my daughter have been boarding in at least 4 different IL stables, constantly looking and searching for a true stable where people are really sincere about loving and taking care of horses no matter how difficult this task may be! This is the cleanest and the safest stable ever, someone is there all the time, the landscape is great and Beth, the owner, is someone with experience and a person you can really rely on! Excellent facility - lovely people! We are happy that we had the opportunity to discover this place!

My wife has had her horse here for several years, and we both could not be happier with J.B.'s. Regular feedings, assistance with supplements and customized needs, hours each day in her own private paddock area, clean aisles and stalls, beautiful property....what more could a horse want in a barn! There are helpful and genuinely caring staff on site every day who are always willing to lend a hand. The other boarders are wonderful and true animal lovers. The owner of the property is always available and is wonderful to deal with. She is very knowledgeable about all things related to horses, and is always willing to share her knowledge and skills with anyone, which is greatly appreciated. After rotating through multiple other barns in the area over a period of years, we are both more than thankful that we came across J.B.'s and, most importantly, so is my wife's horse!
