“I went to Lowe’s in Orland Park seeking help to get a screen door installed. I had had a bad experience with a Home Depot installation I was scheduled to receive. Fortunately, I met a salesperson named Katy Sandusky, I told her my experience and she made us her special project, went out of here way and above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers, (even gave us her special project a name). She was absolutely fantastic!!! Her customer service was superb!! We hit it off immediately!! I told her how important it was for my mom to get this done since she waited so long for Home Depot to get back to her. It took one day to get someone to come out and measure and the third day to get an install. By the following week we had a new door! My mom was so pleased with her and how promptly she made everything happen she had me get on google to share our experience, I gladly obliged!! Thanks Katy for your extra special professionalism, spunky personality and amazing customer service!! We wish we could have gave our experience 10 stars because you were just that great!!???”

“I drove to the New Lenox location as they had the option of lighting I wanted in stock. Upon entering the store every associate I walked passed smiled and said “hello” which was a pleasant change of pace from other stores. The lighting was not in the correct spot on the shelf so Mark and Gale both assisted with bringing over the ladders. You know when you go somewhere and the associates moan and groan in front of customers because something is not in the right spot and now the associate has to actually do work? Almost as if it was the customers fault that items were incorrectly placed. Well that was not the case. Gale and Mark were professional and wonderful! Both were very pleasant and made the shopping experience on New Year’s Eve enjoyable. Keep it up New Lenox Lowes!”

“Overall, a very good experience. Was looking for a weird shelving configuration and was able to find it at menards. The sales associate was helpful in helping me locate what I needed for my project. It's nice to see cashiers at the counters versus all the self service checkouts. Was able to take advantage of an eleven percent rebate that they offered. This ended up to be a nice savings of about fifty buck. The home improvement business is quite competitive and menards. Does a good job staying right there with the bigger competition.”
