Tired of being harassed about giving dogs vaccines. Very non professional. They would not see my dog for a second opinion because she hadn't been there in a while. This business has gone downhill since Dr O'Brien left. .

We left our previous vet for ACC and have been so happy! Our previous vet had awful bedside manner, was dismissive in his answers to us and muzzled our extremely socially anxious puppy at visits to ease his own anxiety (he was convinced he would bite him when there was no history nor sign of that occurring and I was the one holding him). When we took our dogs to our first visit at ACC, Dr. Summerville took her time to bond with our dogs before completing any exams, politely and professionally answered all questions/concerns, and provided meaningful answers in addressing our dog's social anxiety (including writing a prescription for meds as needed which our previous vet never did). When looking at our chihuahua's teeth, she recommended a good cleaning and some teeth removals under anesthesia instead of talking down to us for "not cleaning his teeth" (which our previous vet did); she empathized with us when she discussed how difficult it was for us to do that at home with him. Overall, the move to ACC has already been night and day for us and we couldn't be happier to have found this office with staff that clearly care for the animals and owners they serve. Highly recommend bringing your pets here!

I believe that I have seen all of the vets...they are all good. **Dr. Mandy Hoyt is AMAZING! She thinks outside the box and will give you solutions that are beyond what the others offer. She has saved me multiple times and I always regret when I don't wait for an appointment with her as she has a bit of a waiting list. I believe that she is as skilled and insightful as Dr. O'Brien, the founder.

After 17 years Dr Hoyt decided to kick our animals out. Said I was a bully on the phone when I was just trying to save our cat. Ended up at the Animal Hospital. I DO NOT recommend them.

Very incompassionate people that work there the manager was extremely uncaring when my father passed away and my mother took over for for their dog. After a misunderstanding the manager then called my mom to tell her that they would no longer care for the dog I have never seen a more uncaring individual in my life. If you take your animals here understand that there is no compassion for the owner or empathy for life circumstances very sad and disappointed in this place.

The most amazing staff and veterinarians around! I have never been more comfortable with my pets in anyone else’s care. They are extremely understanding and care so deeply for every animal. I still remember the first time i brought my pitty Nala there five years ago who is super nervous with strangers and she kissed Dr Hoyt right away! And Dr Endebak is the absolute sweetest and so easy to talk to. They have helped so much with my Sadie with recurring aspiration pneumonia and i couldn’t be more grateful! Along with Perla and Franklin for their visits they just love them all! They don’t pressure you and let you know what’s needed and what isn’t completely necessary but is an option and i love that. I will always use them !

My wife and I are both lifelong dog owners/lovers. We've always had at least one dog and at times 3. We bred Rottweilers for a time as well. We moved to Homer Township (at the time) and began using another, local vet who we very quickly soured on for a variety of reasons. We then moved to the ACC in 143rd and it quickly became a love affair! We don't view our dogs as "pets", they are our children who we dote upon and love dearly. Invariably that day has come for all of our dogs. I recall them all very vividly. I brought my favorite Rott to them because her behavior suddenly changed and he displayed issues with balance, attention span and the ability to walk. I took him fo

Just moved to the area and called for an appointment for my cat. Went through all the usual stuff: Name, address, phone, email, pet's name, age, etc, etc, etc. Girl asked if I had records and I said yes I have to get them from our old vet. She asked me to email them and I said sure, you just need them before my appointment? She said no I need them before I MAKE an appointment! What? What if they had been lost in a fire? And so it was over just like that...no appointment and 15 minutes I'll never get back. Looking at the most recent reviews now, I clearly never should have wasted my time.

We have been going here for years. I called to try to get my dog in and they said they would return my call and have a vet return my call but never did. Highly disappointed

We had been a patient for 7 years. Today we went there with an emergency. We arrived at the clinic 15 minutes before they opened. Told the first person to arrive that my cat was in pain and peeing blood. She went inside to call the vet; came back out and said that they were too busy and to go somewhere else. She gave me a list of vets that were all over 40 minutes away.I am devastated! Like many pet owners my pet is a part of my family. When push comes to shove Animal Care Clinic of Homer Glen really let us down!
