Worst pharmacy ever every time I need a vaccine or the dr sends a medication they never have it what is the point of having a pharmacy if you have no medication on stock always sending me to different Walgreens don’t recommend this pharmacy at all

10/5/23 used the app to make an appointment for a covid vaccine and they were running over 35 minutes late with zero acknowledgment or effort to honor the appointment time. Very disappointing.

Wanted to give one star because of pharmacy staff giving me the wrong info and made me waste about an hour of my time, but leaving two stars because I had a great experience with a cashier name Soussan

Shitty service for the pharmacy. It's hard to get through when you call, the prescriptions are never ready in a timely manner, sometimes their automated service will say it'll be ready at a certain time but it's not. I had to switch to this place bc my cvs closed down but I absolutely hate it, looking to switch to another pharmacy but nothing is close by

This Walgreens pharmacy at North Hoffman Estate is the worst pharmacy in Illinois. They are super super slow, don't answer the phone, usually don't have enough medications and takes more than a day to prepare the medications, very long waiting time for pick up, etc. They should close it since they can't manage it.

Can't stand their "club" to get a discount and make you run through hoops with the app then have to get a coupon. Ridiculous. Snotty cashier.

With the exception of Laura, and one older male pharmacist, the amount of incompetence in the pharmacy department is downright frightening. Their mistakes continuously leave me on the phone with insurance for 40 mins to an hour every month, simply to undo.

This pharmacy has messed up my moms prescriptions 3 times in the last year. She has COPD and Dementia, and requires a responsible pharmacy. The staff has lost faxes from her doctors, and has deleted her actual doctors voicemail who called in today for a new prescription for her. We are switching locations immediately. Extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed. DON'T go there!

It took forever to get a flu shot. It was easy to make an appointment with app, but they wouldn’t call your name at least a half an hour

(Pharmacy Review) Did not expect it to take almost 40 minutes to get a Flu Shot (with an Appointment). And then they tried to tell me I had to pay $37... when my Insurance has never not covered Flu Shots. Luckily they ran my card again to correct the error (though my insurance hasn't changed in years). What a mess. The man in front of me in line getting his prescriptions was back for a second day in a row because they gave him an incorrect product. I hope this pharmacy can hire more staff to keep up with everything if they continue struggling like this. I added a star back because the technician was great when I finally saw her for my shot.

Like many other reviewers, I wish I could leave 0 stars for this Walgreens location. The pharmacy used to be exceptionally well run but in the span of 3 years has become a perfect example of incompetence. Honestly, I wouldn't trust the pharmacist "borrowed" from another location to get my McDonald's order correct no less properly dispense medication. Walgreens corporate will certainly hear all about my experience with this person. I spoke this afternoon with Hetal, a very professional & kind person who has helped me in the past & she was able to resolve my issue (thank you very much). Unfortunately, I'll still be without a very important Rx due solely to Walgreens but she did a great job especially when just stepping in. I strongly suggest Walgreens invest time & money developing more employees like her before Costco, Osco, CVS, Amazon, etc. deservedly take all their customers. Many employees openly despise the Boots Alliance Walgreens and this attitude is definitely trickling down to the consumer.

I took a PCR test on Tuesday before traveling for an international flight Saturday where it was required. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time and the whole process took about 30 minutes in the drive thru with only one car ahead of me. The tech was very confused how to administer the test and had to get assistance from another. As of Thursday, I had not received my results so I called the pharmacy who said it was still pending and to contact the lab. I sent an inquiry to the lab who said they never received the sample from Walgreens. I called back Thursday evening and was placed on hold or hung up on for over an hour just to be told they have no idea where my sample went. I ended up having to pay $350 for an expedited test elsewhere even though I had been proactive in getting it 4-days before the flight from Walgreens (this is the maximum amount of time allowed before a flight internationally). Very disappointed by the unprofessionalism at this location and frustrated by the lack of accountability on employees.

Made an appointment for vaccine.Got to Walgreens 15 minutes before appointment as mention in the email. Did not receive vaccine till 40 minutes later, there was 6 people infront of me in line to get vaccine. This is ridiculous if people have to wait an hour to get vaccine than atleast mention in email. If people are making an appointment than you should give people vaccine at the given appointment. If we have to wait than what is the point of making appointment. It should be walk in.Wait is awful. Hire more staff!!

Had the booster today. Scheduled online and did questionnaire online. Don't bother to do the questionnaire online as they're gonna let you do it again because they don't want to waste time printing it out. Even if you have your appointment, you're gonna wait and people are gonna line up and get crowded where it's not supposed to get crowded. Get a separate line for the PCR test or a sign for that and that you've to get an appt to get tested so that people not computer friendly will atleast understand. The nice lady who did our shots were quick and fast. She knew what she was doing, whereas my 2nd shot she just pushed it all the way to my bone (that was with CVS).
