When I moved out of the area not too long ago, I was shocked to see that there were no Infiniti dealerships around me so getting work done was a challenge. So just this weekend, I decided to call the day of my commute back up north to get a simple synthetic oil + filter change done (with MPI).
Dropped the car off and within an hour, I got a comprehensible multipoint inspection sheet, itemized next/recommended services, and a tread depth VIDEO sent to me since the service was complete — something new I think!
So what gives this review 5 stars? Well, it’s quite simple really…. The entire team within this service department truly deliver a world-class experience. From the service advisors (SHOUT OUT TO ANTWAN HICKS!!) to the service technicians, they go beyond a “white-glove” experience to show their clients how much they care.
Not only did they clean the outside of my vehicle, but I noticed they also cleaned the inside! All that aside, this is the one and only service team I would drive over 2 hours to bring my Q60 to.
So without further ado — THANK YOU INFINITI HOFFMAN ESTATES SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!
See you again soon!

Great experience at Infiniti of Hoffman Estates. From the sales staff to service they always take great care of me and make for a pleasant local dealership to visit that stands from the typical pushy sales tactics. They were patient with me and ensured I was fully ready to take on a positive ownership experience with my new Qx60... this was a huge for me since I was upgrading from my 2013 g37. They even setup my first oil change appointment included with my 3 year maintenance!

I bought a Certified pre-owned Infiniti QX60 online with about 19k miles on it and had my son drive it to NM. Then the problems started. 1. When the car arrived, my other teenage son noticed some noticeable scratches and bubbling in the paint within 2 minutes of seeing it. I specifically asked about the exterior and have a video stating there were no scratches or cosmetic issues. They did end up giving me $700 as a good will gesture towards a $1,200 bill; I felt the entire cost to repair the paint should have been covered, but I decided to compromise. 2. The tires triggered a low-pressure warning when the weather got cold, which I understand happens; however, when I went to put air in the tires the back tires read 55lbs of pressure. I checked it with two different gauges as I couldn't believe my eyes and it was the same pressure with both gauges. The other three tires were fine. The max tire pressure on these tires is 44lbs. This was outright dangerous and I feel their dealership put my son at risk of a blowout on the way to NM. It is very concerning that a vehicle left their dealership like this. Remember this is a "certified pre-owned" Infiniti. 3. The transmission started causing trouble at 25k miles, not very many miles from where I purchased it. The local Infiniti dealership replaced the valve body in the transmission which took about two weeks. I received the vehicle back and two days later is started causing more trouble. After having it towed back, they said they had to replace the entire transmission which took another two weeks. I asked the technician how this could happen after only 25k miles. He asked where we bought it and asked about the history of the vehicle. He asked if it was abused, which I assume it was. I relayed that the dealership sent me the Experian history report which stated there were no accidents. The technician looked it up on Carfax and what do you know it was in an accident. It's concerning that I was given a report that showed no accidents when there was another well know service, Carfax, that did show an accident. I am probably most upset with this as I feel like I was outright lied to. If this dealership tries to give you an Experian report, ask them for the Carfax. I understood this vehicle to be certified pre-owned and it underwent a thorough inspection process. All of the above says otherwise. Also, CPO does not give you additional warranty from my understanding now. You have to buy a warranty. When you see a CPO from this dealership, do not put much weight on it. I don't even enjoy driving the vehicle anymore as I am left wondering what will happen next or if I may get stranded somewhere. I am writing this review so that this does not happen to you. I would caution you buying a vehicle from this dealership in general, but especially, without seeing it in person. Take a teenager with you as mine can obviously spot bubbling paint and scratches better than they can. I have sent this complaint to them over a month ago and still have not heard back from them. I am really disappointed in the dealership and Infiniti.

I was broken over my terrible experience and now I'm whole again! Thank you so much to Dick Barker for taking over and getting my dream truck fixed the right way! He never gave up and kept going until he succeeded! I am so grateful to finally have my truck back and performing the way it should have from day 1! I love it so much! I'm beyond excited every time to get behind the wheel now! Thank you a million times! Ky... you're an amazing mechanic. Thanks for taking it apart piece by piece and putting it back together!

STAY AWAY! I went into this dealership with my son to buy him a used car. It happed to also be his 20th birthday. He was very interested in a VW Golf that they had for sale. The car was listed for around $ 20,500.00 (don't remember the exact price). Our sales guy (Edgar) was nice but clearly took the "used car salesman course" and pitched the car, the dealership, the great "ethics" of the dealership, how they are vey transparent, etc. While on the test drive, he was trying to sell the Z-Shield car maintenance plan as well as the LoJack system that was installed in the car. He said the dealership would cover the first 2 years of the subscription, and that we would be responsible for it after the 2 years. He also kept pushing the fact that insurance companies LOVE this system and we can get up to 20% off our car insurance. Just an FYI - American Family in Illinois does NOT offer any credits for this system. We got back from the test drive and he went to the business manager to come up with the official proposal. He came back with the car price of the online listed price $20K, the Z-Shield for $ 2,000.00 and the LoJack system for another $ 1,900.00 along with the reconditioning fee of $ 975.00 and other misc charges. I told him absolutely not on the Z-Shield and LoJack and to take them off the quote. He replied with the dealership installed the LoJack so there are time and materials involved with the install that they need to cover. I said that was VERY shady and that if they added something to the car, they should list the price as being $ 22,000.00 not $ 20,000.00 just to get you in the door. I told him go back to whoever came up with the quote and to remove these extra charges or we were leaving. He came back after a bit and they were magically removed, although the reconditioning fee of $ 975.00 was renamed LoJack. We did buy the car and my son drove it home to Libertyville, about a 45 minute drive. We got home, he parked the car and got picked up by some friends and went out of town for a week. The car sat in my driveway the entire time. He got home after a week and went to work. When I got home there was a spot on the driveway that I thought I initially though was water. The next day, same thing. He went to work and there was another spot where he parked. We checked the car and there was no oil in it, the dipstick was completely dry. The spot on the driveway was oil that had leaked out. We have a concrete driveway, so this was easily spotted. If it was asphalt, I don't know if we would have noticed it as quickly. I called the dealership to find out who the extended warranty (Luckily I got one) was through. I got a call back from the used car manager (don't remember his name) who said basically that it's a used car and things go wrong. He said he looked up this car through the VIN # and there is a recall through VW for oil leaks, so maybe this is the problem. I had the car towed to the VW dealership near me to have them look at the car. I checked with VW directly, and this car had no recalls listed. The service manager at VW was great. I told him about this awful experience and he said he would look at the car as soon as it was dropped off and get back to me. He called me and said that the dealer where I bought it did an oil change on it with an aftermarket oil filter that didn't fit properly and all of the oil leaked out. He also checked over the car to make sure that there were no other problems that he could find. He said since there was nothing else wrong, he just charged me for an oil change. I will NEVER go to this dealership again and possibly never to a Ziegler member if possible. I told my son this is why I hate buying cars. I guess the good thing is that he saw this first hand at 20 years old and when he needs to buy another car, he knows what to look out for.

Totally dishonest. I called to ask if I can get in today for an oil change, and the service rep told me that I don't need an appointment and that they can get me in and out in 1 hour. I drove 10 miles with toll to get there, and the guy tells me that I'm 20th in line and it would take at least 2 hours. How about you start with an apology for totally lying to me and wasting my time? This other guy was totally nonchalant as if it was no big deal that my time was wasted and I was lied to. Thanks for the great customer service.
