I stay here every year around the holidays for about a week, but this one may be my last. The building is only three years old but she is wearing quick. It is unfortunate that the owners of this building have no pride in their bussines. The carpet in my room looks as though it has never been cleaned in those three years. I was half tempted to go buy a carpet cleaner. I fixed a couple of lamp shades that were bent and crooked. I had to repair the blinds that were out of the tracks and all crooked and several other things throughout the building. It is a shame that no care is put into this facility. I find it amazing that people dont take care of their things. If you take care of them, they will last longer. At this rate, it will be more cost-effective to tear the building down ten years from when it was built

There are possibly bad room or cleaning services but I am unsure. I gained a acne on my face after staying here when I never had any problems beforehand related to the skin on my face with the same skincare routine. I suspect either the pillows or the pool are not cleaned often or are poorly washed. I liked the gym, there were nice weights, elypticals and treadmills.

I had an amazing short experience. The two ladies working the front desk when I checked in were very professional, patient and super friendly with me.My room was fantastic is all aspects. Very clean, sheets, pillows and bed were all very comfortable and most importantly, fresh and clean..Breakfast was excellent as well. I had their cheese omelette, two sausages, a biscuit washed down with an orange juice. Everything was scrumptious!!!Keep up the great work staff!!!Thank you for all you do to make everyone comfortable!!!

Nice decent rooms but really dumb policies. If you happen to stay on third level, and want coffee, tea etc in the morning. Be prepared to take a ride all the way downstairs to get water. Really am perplexed on why Holiday Inn would provide coffee, tea assortments in the rooms but no water. Toilet water sufficient I am assuming is the thought process. It absolutely makes no sense to me. For the life of Christ charge us $2.00 more per room for the sake of convenience Holiday Inn.

My family and I came to Chicago for the first time last week to attend a family wedding. We stayed here for 6 nights and let me tell you, it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is very clean, staff is super friendly and our rooms were very comfortable. The daily breakfasts was great and had something for adults and kids. Their coffee station was so good on a cold morning or any time of day. I used their washer and dryer and it was great. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like a baby after being exhausted from daily wedding events. I highly recommend staying here. We definitely will if we are there again.

Spirit Airlines canceled our flights and we were not able to go. We paid in full ahead of time threw Priceline, to only get ripped off from Holiday Inn and Priceline refused to give our money back. They are basically thieves for taking peoples money for a service they did not provide.

Booked an adjoining room through Holiday Inn Hoffman Estates booking platform. I'm a government employee so I booked under a government discount. I happened to have a question so I called the event coordinator, D. She started picking apart my reservation saying that I could no longer use my state discount unless I was staying for work and that I should not have been given an adjoining room because they are no longer advertising them. I will have 4 kids with me, this is not ok. I asked to speak with the GM, Al. He called me back and was so unapologetic! He recognized that there were discrepancies between the booking line and the hotel, but that he was unwilling to make it right for me, only that there would be people getting reprimanded for booking me this way. Please, gain some cohesiveness within your company. If I had not called to ask a question, I would have known none of this until check-in.

439 has to be one of the worse rooms in the whole hotel. The first time I got it I let it slide but the 2nd time given to me has been one of the worse experiences and I been here multiple times over 2 years more than 30 visits. First thing first the tv wasn’t working. The volume broke it was mute then I try calling the front desk for this problem come to find out the phone doesn't even work either. So I had to call from my personal phone. The guy was nice enough to come up and fidget with the tv for like 5-7 mins. He try turning it off and on an other things and waited till it finally work. Also this room the streaming off your phone does not work. All the other rooms it works flawless that means you can’t watch your own streaming service it just doesn't work. Lastly the water pressure sucks it’s like showering in light drizzle rain. So when I check in I ask for a late checkout till 12 and he guaranteed that would happen. 11:30 I get two maintenance guys knocking asking when I’ll leave. Overall terrible experience if you get the chance to decline this room please do cause it needs some work.Rooms: The rooms are nice 439 is just overall terrible wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

It was comparable to a Radisson. Had the needed things a hotel should have with breakfast in the morning. They don't have their carpet installed in the room. It was just laying down, not installed. So that was weird, but otherwise, they were fine.

I really wanted to like this hotel. I was here on business for a week. Walls are paper thin, you hear everything. Got woke up at 1 am to a couple screaming at each other for 30 mins., proceeded by their toddler crying afterwards. Comfy beds, nice 4k tv you can't utilize because all the appropriate features are locked out. Breakfast was the worst experience at a holiday inn express I have ever had. Old cinnamon rolls, no yogurt, no granola, no peanut butter, no ice water, coffee was terrible, I gave up even going to breakfast after the 2nd day. A Off, musty smell on 1st Floor. Lady at front desk was great. Room was clean, minus stains on bed sheet, that was obviously turned towards the bottom of the bed to avoid seeing. It's a mixed bag here, you don't know what you're going to get, but for the price I'll pursue other lodging options going forward.

This place have issues. First the water pressure in bathroom is really bad ! Second bed sheets are dirty ! Third they give u really bad quality towels to use. Fourth bed pillows are extremely soft and small so consider bringing ur own. Next breakfast is decent but not plenty of options to choose from. It’s literally same food every day. Last thing Wifi is really slow and unstable.Pros of this place:quiet, front desk people are always there , parking is big and free.

A solid value for a fresh clean room.Built in 2018, this hotel property still seems shiny and new. I paid $122 for a room here on a Wednesday night in August, 2023. I booked through the IHG app. The location is close enough to the freeway for easy ingress and egress, but, not so close that you might notice the noise, and lights of the freeway. The free outdoor lot parking is very plentiful and close to the hotel. The check-in process was courteous, quick, and straightforward. They do ask you for your car license plate number, so, bring that with you upon check-in.The room was well-cleaned, and well put together. The feather pillows on the beds at most Holiday Inn Express hotels are a nice touch. The mattress was not too firm, and was comfortable enough for one night’s sleep on the road. There aren’t many restaurants within close walking distance, but, I knew that before I booked the room. There is a YUGE Cabela’s outdoor sports super store on the next block with a large freshwater aquarium, and it could make a very entertaining browsing and shopping experience. There is a marshy area next to the hotel if you’re into birdwatching. The wi-fi didn’t work well at all, and that’s one item that could have been better. The fitness center had treadmills, elliptical machines, and a stationary bike, and dumbbells, towels even. The indoor pool was nicely heated, and would be a nice treat even on a cold winter’s day. It is accessible with a machine to help differently-a led folks use the pool. The shower in the room had decent water pressure, but it wasn’t excellent. The breakfast service here was a pre-pandemic quality full hot breakfast service, including veggie omelettes and turkey sausage, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, and the pancake machine was most definitely working this morning, see video.Checkout was quick, easy, and seamless through the IHG app.Safety: A safe, low density suburban area, with plenty of low traffic paved surfaces safe for exercise walks. If there was crime here, the criminal would probably need to drive here in a car, or ride here on a bike.Walkability: There are plenty of low traffic paved surfaces nearby for an exercise walk. And the are is safe too. There aren’t many restaurants in close by walking distance, but, I knew that before I booked.Food & drinks: The breakfast service here was a pre-pandemic quality full hot breakfast service, including veggie omelettes and turkey sausage, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, and the pancake machine was most definitely working this morning, see video. There also seems to be a ad hoc sales of beer and wine behind the counter.

Super clean hotel. Nice staff. Good selection for continental breakfast. Prime location close to high end restaurants, a Main Event venue, lots of shopping. Pet friendly hotel. We had a wonderful 3-4 day stay. Will definitely book again.

I have stayed here a few times over the past year and i am starting to see a decline in services. Maid services are on request, breakfasts are definitely in the lower end of the scale compared to the dozens of other HIE properties I have stay in. Pretty sure i will be trying another property the next time i am in the area.
