An employee named Jeffrey helped me out ENORMOUSLY. I had a horrible experience with the GameStop at Riverside mall where they essentially refused to refund an insurance they pushed me to buy for my switch 2 (which I did not want). Jeffrey at Hodgkins helped me out quickly and easily and did not guilt trip me for canceling my insurance I was forced to pre-order a month ago. Actually an incredible guy, will only be going to this GameStop going forward. 🙏😭 Jeffrey needs a raise and recognition, actually the goat of GameStop. Thanks to him I will be coming in much more often.

The first time I when had a good experience, the guy explained to me everything and was professional . I when 2 more times and haven't seen him . There a new guy but he don't look so happy to work there.

Jeff needs a raise. He went out of his way for 30 minutes to attend to me. Now this is the only Gamestop I will go to. I have never had such good service from anyone at a gamestop. Thank you Jeff

One star because some guy named Jeffery wanted to waste my time just tell me that I can only trade in my console for store credit because of my age, but proceeds to tell me this after waiting for two hours.

I’ve been shopping at this GameStop since I was 6 and I’ve never had two nicest employees I’ve ever dealt with at a GameStop. They were super helpful when I was there in person along with on the phone, they are easy to talk to, great attitudes, and willing to relay any messages about a product that’s coming out or is preordered. Great customer service overall and such a calm/clean atmosphere in the store. They can handle customers happy or upset and still can get the job done with a smile. I appreciate the service and when I get the two employees names I’ll put it in the review so people can ask for their help. Thank you guys!

Without a doubt my goto for GameStop in the area. Always a good selection of different things, and importantly a friendly atmosphere.
Made a purchase of a couple collectibles today, and inquired about the availability of another. Was helped by Zach, who had no problem assisting me in my search as well as providing recommendations.This guy was knowledgeable. As a former customer support trainer myself, this is the kind of example you want for people interacting with customers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

I had wonderful experience at GameStop in Hodgkins. It’s because Zach was so helpful, so informative and so professional that it makes me wanna go back to that store even though I know nothing about electronics. I went with my son to sell some stuff. Waited overnight for a PS5. Staff was super friendly and as I was selling my PS4, the guy behind the counter was super nice and had some nice casual chitchat as I waited. Clean store overall great experience.

Called up GameStop to trade in some retro consoles. Brought in a Wii, PS2 and my Switch. Zachary was super cool and helpful through the whole transaction. Loved being able to talk to someone about video games with! Walked out with great deals and a ps3 game for 20 cents! I’ve been coming to this location since I was a kid and people like Zach are the reason why walking in there makes it a fun and nostalgic experience.
